Also, I hate trump. Definitely not a fan of biden or really, any candidate for this office. Also, ts seems to have a bit of a case of TDS. I voted for my cat the last two elections. I would vote for Manchin if he decides to run.

But we have to be honest here-this is no different from all of congress being bought by lobbyists from various industries, companies, or people that want certain regulations passed or removed. Just about every single motherfucker in congress gets large amounts of contributions to their reelection funds or flat out, you know very fucking well that many are also just handed bags of cash to vote a certain way in order to help their industry or line their pockets. It is so infuriating just how unregulated donations are in the aspect of donations are considered first amendment rights, which I do understand-the government shouldn’t be able to tell someone who they can contribute to, but everyone knows that it curries favor for whatever cause or bill they are trying to get.


Donations, especially big ones, equal FaceTime or meetings with these politicians in order to pitch their wishes on various issues/votes/bills being sponsored by members of congress/potus. I will never believe that some lobbyist/company donating millions does not influence how congressmen/women will vote on issues.

Every single one of these motherfuckers are for sale. Whoever gives the most in donations or special favors/gifts/vacations. These fucking pricks would never ever meet with you or I to discuss any issue-we would never even get close to them. The “call your congressperson commercials is absolute bullshit. They have no fucks to give about what the people want. None of them care about what we need or want, however, lobbyists from very wealthy and influential corporations get special treatment and considerations. It’s either pharmaceutical, oil/gas companies, superPACS, weapon manufacturers or other lobbyists get meetings and basically negotiate “we will donate millions if you vote for or against this bill or that legislation. They vote to give multi-billion dollar military contracts to various corporations to manufacture and supply our military, and oddly enough, these corporations donate a great sum of money to these politicians for their reelection campaigns and again, oddly enough, the congressmen own stocks in these same companies.


And it’s not just US corporations, it’s also foreign countries and corporations that do the same things. Israel/ukraine for example, get billions of aid from the US, and I would bet just about anything I own that when congressmen/women get something in exchange for their vote to increase foreign aid to these countries/foreign industries-again, especially oil producers. These politicians get into politics because everyone knows that it is very financially beneficial to be a member of congress. They do not do it to vote in the best interests of the people they are supposed to be protecting representing. They give zero fucks about us or what would benefit us. They do it to have the power to financially benefit themselves.

And while I am on the topic of congressional malfeasance and criminal activity, how is basically every senator multi millionaires? Again, they are getting tons of cash in either contributions to their campaigns or directly into their pockets. And you will never see any regulations passed that would limit the ways in which they can enrich themselves. They won’t vote for lesser salaries, ability to accept contributions, or regulations that affect how they can invest in stocks-usually for the companies they meet with. Go ahead and try to tell me that a congressman who meets with pfizer or exxon mobile votes against those companies or tell me that they do not own lots of stock in the companies/industries they vote to benefit. There should be more regulations and oversight on how they or their spouse/family invest. Most claim they are in blind stocks set up by a financial advisor and that they don’t know which stocks they are buying and when. Look at Diane Feinstein (rip-I am very broken up by her passing) for example. She voted for a bill and she just happened to own a lot of stock in the industry and her husband sold/bought stocks on an upcoming vote just two weeks before the vote. Of course they were cleared of any wrongdoing, but were investigated along with several others for doing the same thing-buying/trading stocks when there is an upcoming vote on various issues. Also, she made several votes that directly benefited her husband’s companies.

And again, almost every single congressmen is very wealthy. Some were very wealthy before taking office, but they become much wealthier after being elected. Look at Pocahontas herself, elizabeth warren, who champions socialism-meanwhile, she is worth 67 million. Or pelosi, McConnell, and many, many others.

I keep wanting to make a thread on this issue, but it is very unwieldy and daunting and would take a ton of work. Hell, even my boy, manchin, has a daughter who ran a pharmaceutical company that made epi pens and she was allowed to really jack up the cost of the pens. Try to tell me at some point, manchin didn’t vote for an issue that directly enriched his family nor would he, or anyone else, cast a vote that would financially harm themselves or their family.

also what Trump did was illegal but for some reason the law and order also gives Diaper Don a pass when he breaks the law. The family values party also seems to give Diaper Don a pass when he cheats on his wife with porn stars.
speaking of wife, where is Melania? She was not in the family Christmas photo unless she was the one taking the photo. Trumps Mar a Lardo New Years bash she was not seen. I guess with all his legal fees Trump is kicking out, he can’t afford Melania’s appearance fee.
