Finally the Ryan Hall myth has ended.

He was flopping around the octagon and then got slept.
You mean the same way he “flopped around” when he submitted BJ, and beat the brakes off Elkins? You fuckin nancies are so butthurt about Ryan hall. Be butthurt about the fighter you’re rooting for being too scared shitless to engage on the ground.

Big fan of Ryan Hall, hope he can come back soon

Finally someone didn’t play his game and followed him when he tried and roll. Everybody fought him way too tentatively, leg lock specialists prey on guys who are too indecisive. See Belcher/Palhares, don’t play his game and punish when they try and flop.

Maia developed an underrated striking game. Didn't have much but his straight left gave trouble to Usman, Colby, Munoz, Rory etc.

He also arguably became the best wrestler among the BJJ elites to transition. Didn't have variety but a great single leg and series chains from it to get the fight to the mat. He developed these skills mostly later at WW but he was rarely a flopping, cartwheeling fish out there even when he started
See him vs anderson

I’m a huge fan. I always said guys need to stop being so chicken shit and follow him to the ground and beat him up A la Alan belcher Rousimar Palhares. Topuria did exactly that and I give him the credit he deserves.

I love watching specialists I was rooting for hall but was very impressed with tapuria.

you guys are just weird haters. Many of my favorite fighters have many losses and many of my favorite fighters fought each other.

you guys are freaks. Your like “ you think Cindy is hot remembered she burped at the lunch table in 96”. Hahahaa.

Yeah, that hype was weird as shit. Last Saturday was the first time I saw the person to match with the name and that was funny as all shit.

I don’t understand the hate for the dude. Is he not alpha enough for the common Sher-bro?

Eh, Maia fought for the belt in two weight divisions. Let's not pretend he hasn't had more success then 99.9% of other fighters on the UFC roster, regardless of their specialties.

Maia developed wrestling.

I wish him the best however it's kind of hard to root for somebody who refuses to work his way up the division like everybody before him

5 or 6 years later and Ryan Hall is still in the same position . His own fault
