All fighters successfully weighed-in Friday morning ahead of GLORY 86 on Saturday, May 27, in Essen, Germany.

The main event title fight was made official as featherweight champ ‘Petch’ (168-39-3, 27 KO) and the number four ranked challenger Ahmad Chikh Mousa (58-8-1, 28 KO) both made championship weight.

In the co-main event, both fighters tipped the scale at over 500 lb as Benjamin Adegbuyi (35-7, 20 KO) and Sofian Laïdouni (35-2-1, 17 KO) will battle it out for a coveted spot in the GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix in December this year.

Two light heavyweight standouts step up to heavyweight for the first time in GLORY when Luis Tavares (63-8, 21 KO) clashes with Bahram Rajabzadeh (61-1, 55 KO). Additionally, France’s Guerric Billet (41-6-1, 17 KO) welcomes top German fighter Enriko Kehl (51-15-2, 30 KO) into GLORY in a bout that could decide the next lightweight title contender.

Elsewhere on the card, French starlet Sarah Moussaddak (7-3, 1 KO) takes on Argentine’s Giuliana Cosnard (53-2-1,14 KO), top rising Dutch stars Robin Ciric (21-5, 7 KO) & Chico Kwasi (40-5, 22 KO) meet in a potential ‘fight of the night’, Portugal’s Juri de Sousa (43-8-1, 20 KO) and Joilton Lutterbach (KB: 13-1, 7 KO | MMA: 37-10, 14 KO, 13 sub.) get the chance to settle their rivalry, and heavyweights Uku Jürjendal (17-7, 13 KO) & Mantas Rimdeika (16-4, 7 KO) collide in an all-Baltic battle to kick-off the card.
GLORY lightweight standout Cihad Akipa (KB: 49-11, 18 KO | MMA: 5-0, 3 KO, 1 sub.) will compete in the main event of NFC 14 when he takes on Stefan Sigler (1-1, 1 KO) in a welterweight MMA-showdown.

Chikh Mousa is definitely a nice fighter to watch. Will be interesting to see how much progress he can make with Nick Hemmers

Two more fights got announced

Very nice matchup in the welterweight division, which is a rematch 6 years in the making

Card looks good so far! Chikh Mousa is very hittable, but has some solid Boxing when he decides to open up. I don't see him beating Petch, but the matchup will be a fun one nonetheless!

The official fight card

Some very good fights on the card, though I expected some more fights tbh.
There was some talk about another 4-man heavyweight tournament for this card, but after all that’s not happening. GLORY’s last few cards only had like 8 fights or something, hopefully that doesn’t become the new standard

I basically feel like what he said:

Personally I'd add max 1 or 2 more fights. 6-7 fight main card and 3 prelims would be good. Too many promotions have way too long cards IMO.

A single prelim fight is pretty useless tho.

The problem of divisional depth in Glory has been more a result of holding so few events and not the number of fights per card. Think they'll be okay with the relatively small number of divisions they have when running on a monthly schedule again.

A new development!
So now we’ll also have about 8 MMA-fights to watch during GLORY 86 later this month
