This. At some point you have to stop making excuses for Aaron. A good example of a difference between the two was the play at the end of the half, and the fourth and goal field goal. Tom was pulled off the field and made a case for going back out. I didn’t like the call at the time, but worked out perfect.
Aaron was called off the field and he could have said no, let’s go for it. Let’s do this. He didn’t and the plan didn’t work out. If Aaron really wanted to, he could have used a veto there.
Did Aaron tell the D to run prevent with 8 seconds? Did he fumble that led to a TD? Did he make the call to not go for a tying TD?
