If you're above manlet status, first class makes a huge difference especially on a long flight.

I'm guessing Jones was probably on a really short flight/ connection flight

Yeah that could it, I'm not 6'4 like Jones so might be a different world. I'm average height though and slim.

? Sometimes you need a flight and there’s no first class seats available for whatever flight is around.

Besides, Jones was never a private jet, 1st class kind of fancy guy anyway. I imagine he’s a drive a rental into a small desert town kinda guy.

Rentals are good.
