DC and Khabib are nowhere near similar as mma wrestlers. Like they both said, DC will try to take you down a few times, if it doesn't work he stops. Khabib will never stop trying to take you down, and is a much better grappler once he gets you down (DC is also a great grappler but Khabib is just the best ever)

Are you talking hypothetically from a pound for pound perspective or do you mean it like it seems Jones vs Khabib as they are?

If it's the ladder, as much as I love Khabib Jon would fucking murder him based on being arguably the greatest fighter in the sports history while also having a rather significant size advantage.

Anyone who say's differently clearly has an emotional issue with Jon that's clouding their brain to the point they are incapable of thinking logically.

Surprised by how many ppl saying Khabib would win there is here. Either they are trolling, have a big boner for Khabib or are a Jon Jones hater. Or maybe they don't think fights logically.

Anyway, Jon Jones would take Khabib out dominantly. Jon Jones is one of the best fighters, at an elite level, has proved himself many times and has a way bigger reach, plus weighs more. There's just no way around this.

In terms of skills, idk. Both have competent and good striking and are elite level on the ground. Jon Jones is an elite wrestler, has put Sonnen down and dominated him on the ground and dropped DC a few times. I'd say Jon Jones is even more talented and better p4p. In Khabib's father own words, "we know Jon Jones is #1". He heavily praised Jones and said he'd clear the HW division.

So yeah, too many Jones haters here. Guy may be a fucking weirdo irl but we may not let that cloud logical thinking. Facts >>>> emotions.

There's quite a few guys with the skillset to negate Khabib's wrestling and force him to strike with them (yes assuming they are the same size).

High level guys like Jones (Pre USADA), DC or GSP would neutralize Khabib's wrestling and beat him in the standup.

Keep in mind Khabib has only faced one elite MMA Wrestler in 29 fights and that was Tibau, and he went 0-13 in takedown attempts.

With Khabib it's either he can take you down and dominate you, or he can't take you down and it becomes a very competitive fight because his striking is not elite level.

khabib would totally stoked him, like seriously! guys take a look at khabibs hairstyle it's not something to be messed with, since his hairstyle represents an already badass blondefro character
and his name is evil ken masters from street fighter, and yet this character already predicted the already best former UFC fighter. jones is decent when it comes to Boxing and JKD.
but at the end they are no match for khabibs all out freestyle wrestling and sambo brawl, these fighting styles that khabib mostly used are totally effective when it comes to joneses watered down "jeet kune do" "style", and lets be real only bruce lee could claim that martial art that no one should claim after his passing, yet there's people like dan inosanto that would use that for his misunderstanding marketing unfortunately. i feel bad for bruce Rest in peace legendary fighter.
