Unfortunately, this may be true. Tony is a great MMA fighter but this is a terrible match-up for him. Tony has weak TD defense and Khabibi has some of the best top control since GSP. This is going to be a mauling and relatively easy win for Khabibi.

Tony got ragdolled and mounted by Kevin Lee until he gassed and got tapped. Khabib doesnt gas and hes a way better offensive wrestler than Al,Tibau or Kevin.

- khabib doesn't gass is false
- he never faced someone who will GnP from the bottom and make every transition a sub opportunity.
- He never faced someone who is always moving forward

Tripping over a wire made him pull out the last time, so yeah, running across upright tires and falling into them could certainly cause another injury

Huh? He won multiple 10-8 rounds against Iaquinta and had 0 trouble. Oh, but he only won 30-27 against a guy on steroids with the best TDD in the division 8 years ago, so my money's definitely on Tony now. Oh wait, Tony lost to Michael Johnson that same year. Foiled again.

Someone moving forward makes it easy for Khabib to clinch,take them down or shoot for a single leg. GnP from bottom causes nothing but cuts that doesn't cause any damage.

Tony's best chance is a guillotine or darce. Better be working on that darce.

Freak injuries happens all of the time that would never happen again. A teenager could sprint across those tires with low chance of injury if he's aware of how to fall properly, sure there's chance of injury but it's minimum.
