Standard for Eastern Europe. There was an old school Polish cycling coach who came to the US in the 80s and he advocated that his athletes go get farm raised meat of different varieties including horse and rabbit.

I lived in Kazakhstan. It's standard practice there. Not only boxers, but all the people eat horse meat, which is kind of interesting as horse is like their symbol animal. You would expect them to ban horse meat rather than eat heavily.

Not like it's intrinsically different from meat from any other animal tbh.

It's not just Eastern Europe. Horse meat has a slightly sweet taste to it, I enjoy it. I used to bring back cases all the time from Quebec to Toronto when I lived there.

My girlfriend thought it was weird, so I ordered a horse steak in Switzerland this summer and didn't tell her until after. She thought it was 'really good'.

What's the difference between eating a horse or a pig or a cow? A pig is likely the most intelligent of the 3.

When I think of horse meat I think cat food. ..
I would eat horse to piss off my ex mother in law tho...
No problem eating other meat, even ate our 'pet' pigs as the escaped and ate and destroyed my veg patch.

Its sweater tasting and pretty lean.

Never tried horse, but I've eaten kangaroo meat a few times, and I attribute my somewhat bouncy personality to this.

Is it wrong to eat dogs then? If you look at all of them just like animals. For some horse might mean more than a pet. It all depends on view some are fckn vegans.

Wait... What was the point of this mssg? Idk If I get a chance to try out some horse meat, steak or authentic Kazakh dish would not hesitate. Send me the meat!

This is an attempt to rationalize Canelo's rampant and constant PED use.

It's quite common in Europe be it in France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerlands, Germany, Poland and some countries of Eastern Europe. Compared to beef meat it tastes better, has less fat and more iron.

Dated a girl in China. Morning after first night we spent together, she said, “let’s get some breakfast.”
She asked me if I wanted to go to a “Lü” place. I knew that meant donkey, but I assumed it was just a place with a friendly donkey as mascot.

Nope. Only donkey on the menu. I said I’ll get what you’re having. Out comes a plate with a donkey eyeball, sliced and topped with cilantro and soy sauce. That’s it, just an eyeball on a plate. For breakfast.

Tasted like soy sauce and cilantro.

Horsemeat is code for steroids..I thought everyone knew this?

Ilya ilyin said he went on a horsemeat diet before smashing a bunch of world records, and Alistair Overeem did when he became the Hulk and smashed everyone in UFC.
