Khabib is few months younger than Conor and started MMA 6 months later.

He has 24 MMA fights on top of an illustrious career in sambo, no-gi BJJ, army hand-to-hand combat and pankration as well as competing in wrestling and judo in his youth.

Conor also has 24 MMA fights but has been in the MMA longer and has no accomplishments outside of MMA other than some mickey mouse amateur boxing trophy.

When Khabib was winning prestigious grappling championships Conor was mostly playing call of duty and was on welfare.

So who is Conor to question Khabib's activity in combat sports? He already ran away and took a long break from the sport before while Khabib was forced to do it due to injuries.

Well they have the same number of title defenses.

Tbh, the main issue with Khabib has been trash talking while pulling out. He's always been active aside from that injury stretch, and if he hadn't pulled out multiple times in that inactivity period, and simply waited until 100%, he'd be better received.

Pettis is another guy who's been quite active recently despite having several long inactivity periods

And conor is the champ. I guess khabib should have worked on his personality more during all that training

Khabib has fought 2 top 10 fighters in 3 years...

Conor has won the 145 and 155 belt in a year.

And? Why does that give Conor the right to pick all of his opponents?

It's bullshit that he doesn't want the Khabib fight because of his injury problems. Why would he even care?

Conor 9-1 in the UFC
Khabib 8-0.

Stats don't lie. But i cut Khabib some slack because of the injuries.

1. No it does not give Conor the right to pick his opponents. Champs should never have that right; too much conflict of interest.
2. Why would Conor care? Seriously? Two of his last four opponents pulled out of fights last minute with injuries. This affects the performance of the card and therefore the money he makes from the fight, and also leaves him with last minute opponent changes. McGregor's two worst UFC performances both came against late replacement opponents.

strangely Conor vs Nate Diaz 1 (as a last minute replacement) is the highest selling Ufc PPV ever

Meh, I can't really buy this. He still TKO'd Mendes, who only lost to top 3 guys before his suspension.
Why can't he just accept the fact that Khabib is the most dominant looking LW atm, and encourage a title fight between them?
Champs shouldn't be allowed to worry about this and that. Just take the fights we want to see, goddammit.

The fact that it set a record doesn't mean it wouldn't have been higher than if the fight was for the LW title. Then again, Nate is a special guy. But McGregor for sure lost money fighting Mendes as opposed to Aldo.

As a Khabib fan I think he's pulled out of fights with Cerrone and Ferguson 5 times each. I don't see how you can possibly argue he's more active.
