Do you agree with these odds?

Keep in mind a heavy kick attack from Leon won him the 2nd fight. Kicks to keep distance instead of boxing. I doubt Khamzat employees the same strategy.

I think Usman shoukd be a slight favorite. He has better overall defense and I can see him having bettee cardio in a 5 rd fight. Not certain if Khamzat’s size will be a significant difference if he has to cut a lot of weight.

I’m an Usman fan; but these odds make sense.
Usman is getting older while Khamzat is in the middle of his prime with much fewer miles on him.
Add the fact that odds are influenced the expected/actual betting patterns of the punters, and the odds make perfect sense to me.

Usman in good condition handles Khamzat easily. Is Usman in good enough condition though? He looked like crap in his last fight but does that mean he's done? These odds seem to indicate people think he IS done. I'm not convinced yet.

Great odds on Khamzat. Usman looked like absolute shit vs Edwards despite handling him rather easily up to the KO in their fight just 6 months prior. He's pretty clearly shot and most likely goes the Woodley route.

Usman looked like shit in the second Leon fight but I don’t see either guy taking each other down so it just comes down to standup which I’d give to Usman. But I think Khamzat has more raw power
Usman’s standup is trash

What? It's good bet.
I’d be more inclined to believe that if you weren’t so immature as to call him what you do, and to have the username you do. You act like a 13 year old.

No matter how much I despise any fighter. I have enough respect for them getting into a cage to fight. That I use their correct first name, last name, or popular accepted nickname. Usually whichever is the shortest to type, but not always.

@BigTruck has it right, though.

I used a popularly accepted nickname

Wow, if this fight happens, Khamzat is really getting some favorable treatment. Doesn't have to fight anyone tough unless they're a name.

I mean... we already knew this though.

he beat Burns at WW and tried to fight Colby… who else should he fight lmao

It would be a great fight and Khamzat would be a major threat, but aint no way he's favourite over Usman.

But as I understand it, this fight is not even announced is it? So it's a hypothetical match up. I cannot bet on this fight on my sportsbook in Australia.

It's not worth betting on a fight that's not even booked yet anyway, because you have no idea how long that money's locked away. If the fight doesn't eventuate, when do you get your money back?

Usman looked like shit against Edwards (in the rematch). If khamzat doesnt fight like a moron he whipes the floor with him.

leon beat usman twice.... usman's confidence is shattered.

I suspect KC will struggle with the weight cut but will offer a competitive fight - usman won't be able to rely on his wrestling as much. Taylor made for usman.

Are these odds for WW or MW? Hard to imagine this would be for WW.

I would've set it at Khamzat -115 and Usman +100

This is WW I'm assuming? If MW then Khamzat -160

Line makes sense. I think khamzat will win a tough battle. Maybe a late fight tko but a decision seems like the right choice. Hopefully khamzat team gets him to stay disciplined cause if he gets reckless he may be outpaced by Usman.

This is a classic "up and comer potential great" fighting a great on their way out. GSP v. Hughes comes to mind, just not sure if it's 1 or 2.

How would usman win what’s his path

Decision, knockout, or submission. Just like any other human. He has significantly better striking than Khamzat, far more experience against much better competition, great MMA grappling demonstrated against top competition for years... what exactly are you asking? lol

The history of combat sports tells you all you need to know about how Usman's career is going to go from here on out. I see a string of L's and then retirement.

I don't see Khamzat outwrestling or outstriking Usman. I'm taking Usman by TKO.

I wouldn't put money on this fight, it's close.

Prime Usman is better, but this version is 36 and coming off two losses.

Khamzat wrestling is solid, he's bigger and he's probably improved his striking since Burns.

If I had to bet, I'd go with Usman, the money is better.
And that Usman already won the belt and defended it multiple times.

Aside from age and injuries, the hunger must be a factor as well.
