true, but even in her prime years she was way overrated by many fight fansShe was facing someone younger, and 18" taller than she was.

If the UFC had a Atom Weight division 7 years ago she would have been their Shevchenko. She’s always had my respect.
She’s undersized and passed her prime. But she is a scrapper. She’s not looking for an easy way out. Like some fighters do. She has heart, and guts.
Was she crying because she knows she’s not competitive anymore or because she was humiliated or just emotional from the physical damage? Inquiring minds want to know
Holm will turn down her next title shot if UFC releases Waterson. Dana is shook.
I’ve always thought she was just a point-fighterMaybe, she was finally beginning to realize Winklejohn academy has been duping her for years? She always used to be in a weird state of mind. Even while getting her a** kicked. she would be cracking smiles and teasing her opponents. Pretty much every kick or punch she lands, is a few inches short. Yet. she thinks she won the fight on points by punching and kicking air.
In her prime years she was an atomweight, but the UFC doesn't have an atomweight division.true, but even in her prime years she was way overrated by many fight fans
even then, when she was with Invicta, her looks got her fans that wouldn't have been fans if she was dog ugly, and that lead to her being overrated...imho, still a good one back then, but never close to being at the level her fanboys claimedIn her prime years she was an atomweight, but the UFC doesn't have an atomweight division.
Nah that would be Tecia Torres or Jessica Penne. If the UFC had a Atom Weight division 7 years ago she would have been their Shevchenko.
She's simply a more recognizable name than most female mmartist. She's a sub .500 fighter in the UFC (6-8) Not sure if Dana "likes her" which gives her this unusual career boost that other WMMA fighters don't get.
She's awful. She may have lost, because she was totally outsized, but she tried her best.
No honest fight fan can fault someone for "losing" ... when they authentically go down fighting.
Michelle Waterson deserves respect for her efforts.
