Right before he got injured, Embiid was shaking off the Embust moniker, as the frontrunner for the MVP at the mid way point. Unfortunately he was unable to elude the injury bug, knee issues, have resurfaced derailing his best season so far. Sorry @PolishHeadlock2

The unlikely #2 in the race is also the goofiest looking guy in the league (respect tho @HunterSdVa29)

Charles was 3 years earlier in his prediction, granted Nuggets don't have the best record, but they're up there.

Juice is up there, hasn't able to take his spring break to visit the lab, his record without GayD has @Revolver questioning did he jump onto the right bandwagon

James the Beard Harden openly admitted that he tanked his way out of the Rockets, but @LazaRRus is still loyal to him. Looks like he magically lost 30 pounds flying from from Houston to Brooklyn.

He's been pretty good since he's been on the Nets, might even be a darkhorse in the MVP race. Is Chuck going to be proven right in the playoffs?

But we all know who the real MVP is

Haliburton vs Ball today. A battle for the rookie of the year is at stake. Will Luke Walton allow Haliboy to teach the team how to win or will they continue to handcuff him to appease Fox's ego?

Cliffs

Just gonna copypasta a post I made on RealGM yesterday:

Butler is a bonafide superstar and the team record with/without doesn't even do him justice

With Butler Miami has a 111.2 ORTG (would be 18th) and 107.1 DRTG (would be 2nd) for a net of +4.2 (would be 9th)

Without Butler Miami has a 105.8 ORTG (would be 26th) and 115.5 DRTG (would be 27th) for a net of -9.7 (would be 30th)

So in other words, a NRTG with Butler that's about on par with the Sixers and a NRTG without Butler that's dead last in the league

*Heat have also played the last 4 games with Butler but without Bam
