They traded up for a stud... Pat didn't fall into their lap...They found a QB to get over the hump and won multiple Ships largely due to Kelce and youre trying to discredit it lol. Truly amazing.
You can actually draft other players while searching for a QB.
Agreed. He should trade his mod status to @fica after that take lolThey traded up for a stud... Pat didn't fall into their lap...
It's weird to say that they "found him". And plain to see that the Chiefs weren't winning anything with Smith + Kelce.
Would you trade makes PM for TK?
Kingsley Suamataia to the Chiefs. Hope Andy Heck can develop him. Has a lot of physical gifts that most dudes at his position don't have.
What does that matter? They built their team up until they were able to land the franchise guy. Give me blue chip players over drafting shit QBs early just because they are QBs.They traded up for a stud... Pat didn't fall into their lap...

Nah, just that one of the best head coaches of all times, the best TE of all times, the best special Olympian of all times, the best game manager of all times, still amounted to little without a QB.They found a QB to get over the hump and won multiple Ships largely due to Kelce and youre trying to discredit it lol. That's fair. The thing with that strategy though is it could be awhile, or never happen in the blue chip players primes. I do agree with your take though. What does that matter? Spamming shitty QB's isnt going to find you a good oneThat's fair. The thing with that strategy though is it could be awhile, or never happen in the blue chip players primes. I do agree with your take though.
You’re usually left with a roster that can be competitive enough to scrape together enough wins to maybe make a wild card, but not seriously compete for the division. You eventually start wasting all your talent’s prime and then when they’re getting traded and cut, you can maybe get bad enough to find yourself in a top five pick. That's fair. True, but having great skill players while having QB's like O'Connell and Minshew will get you nowhere. It's fine for a while but they eventually gotta take a chance on someone. If you remember Mahomo was taking a chance. Many didn't like the pick att, he sat his first year because he wasn't quite ready. Nobody saw what he has done coming, meanwhile the guys that were considered can't miss Watson, Lawrence etc haven't done shit.Spamming shitty QB's isnt going to find you a good one
There is a massive fucking difference between Patrick Mahomes and Michael Pratt or spencer rattler. Mahomes, while he had shitty footwork and questionable accurate and more easy to spook than a deer in the pocket, had huge upside. How many QBs today are first round pick? All the good ones are. They were first rounders with high upside.True, but having great skill players while having QB's like O'Connell and Minshew will get you nowhere. In hindsight sure, but nobody saw Mahomes being Mahomo. People on national sports talk radio/tv didn't like it and couldn't understand trading up so high to take him when Watson was still on the board. Turdbisky and Watson were considered good picks, Mahomoes was very much a gamble/project.There is a massive fucking difference between Patrick Mahomes and Michael Pratt or spencer rattler.
