Media O'Malley posts a video of him vs. Pantoja sparring in 2016

Posting sparring videos to dunk on your sparring partner is a whole new level of lame and I like Sean.

That about sums it up.

Unless it is a coordinated effort to promote a fight, in which case they can do what they want...otherwise, it's very poor form.

Imagine being a fan of SOM after two test failures and bullshit like this. He's undoubtedly leveled up and impressed skill wise, but between the cherry picking, gift decisions, the Munhoz eye poke debacle, and being an all time try hard MMA personality, Sean deserves the shit he gets.

Pantoja got hit clean in the body and waved Sean off instead of being a standing target during practice. Smart move. Probably why he’s almost cleaned out his division and is fighting well into his 30’s.

Sean’s got a lot more things to worry about than the guy in the weightclass below atm

1. Pantoja brought it up and kept talking about it, not Sean. Sean just finished what Pantoja started
2. O'Malley's about to fight his 4th top 5 fighter in a row. He only hasn't fought Cory and Cejudo at this point, and Cory's next if he beats Umar and Sean beats Merab
3. It's apparently cherrypicking to fight the only guy who's ever beaten you, and did so by 1st round KO
4. O'Malley beat Yan by doing more damage, which is the primary scoring criteria
5. O'Malley's try hard personality is limited to his flamboyant looks. He's pretty open and honest in his interviews

People bitching about this because it's Sean when it was Pantoja that brought it up.

Never change Sherdog.
Then OP didn't give full context, which is on them. Not everybody catches every shred of pro MMA drama / social media "beefs"

Problem is you are unbiased, they are spending their time to hate certain fighters so they are blinded by hate

Sean will NEVER fight Cory. He will leave the weightclass before that happens

It’s just practice….but O’Malley would brutally KO Pantoja in an actual fight.

The clip doesn't mean much. It's Pantoja calling it quits in training, playing it safe. We know in an actual match he takes that shot and every kitchen sink in the neighbourhood and still carries on like a wild man.

Btw Pantoja said he drove 15 hours to the gym the day before and wasn't in the best condition.

I'd be down for watching them fight and Pantoja getting more attention, but it would mess up BW if done soon and if done later idk if Pantoja's durability will still be there by then.

Who saves 8 year old sparring footage? Lol

He failed twice? I know about ostaribe a while back. What was the other failure?

1.) Pantoja bringing up them training/sparring and wanting to fight him is enough to provoke something as lame this? You'd obviously think so.

2/3.) He cherry picked Chito. This is irrefutable. Type whatever you'd like.

4.) Yan should have been awarded that decision. He was not. SOM doesn't judge his own fights, so it isn't his fault, but he clearly lost.

5.) SOM is a try hard, cringe lord. He has his moments like everyone else, but he's a terrible MMA personality.

Overall, I'm not surprised you're an O'Malley fan. You're a huge Jones and Conor hugger so this is par for the course.
