Marvin Gaye, god-tier singer.
I've listened to the two Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong albums a million times, so it's hard for me to separate them, but my hand is forced so I'm picking her.
Bowie has a great, barytone voice - why are people saying his voice wasn't great? It definitely was and this vocal is haunting and haunted - a nice contrast to the slightly too poppy melody.
Bruuuuuce. If you haven't heard this song, check it out for a very different style of vocal from him.
I'm also picking Elvis, no explanation neccessary.

That's simply due to him not being on the list to rank. It is from 2016 but don't think it's really a year to year thing as these types of people only come around so often.

Is funny how the top singers are mostly rock singers. I do like Patton a lot The real Thing is onevof my favorite albums
