OVERWATCH, v5: The Wicked Witch is Dead

Just love hacking Pharah's who are hovering just beyond the map edge and having them plummet to their death, recently hacked one and the Pharah and mercy ended up falling off the map.

lol, absolutely shellacked a poor team on Rialto today.

New event skins are pretty cool. Only one I really care about is Winston.

I've started playing Doomfist lately and having lots of fun feeding the enemy team.

Hope everyone is taking advantage of the double xp weekend. It's freaking rare.
Hell yeah. My friend that I play on PC with got the game for XB and we grinded it to level 25 in a couple of sessions. Got ourselves a nice chunk of loot boxes with all that leveling up.

BTW, did everyone get the skins the wanted? My #1 was Roadhog, with Mei in 2nd and Brig 3rd. Managed to get all three on my solo account.

I got all the skins in overwatch other than fish man doom fist and baseball Winston. Both of which I will buy in a few hours.

The only other skins I don't have are pink mercy,Atlantic tracer, fire genji, demon hunter sombra, but those are paid skins.

Did buy the recent sun Lucio and lunar mercy though.

New Mccree is so fun to play. He'll probably be nerfed back into the ground again soon, so gotta enjoy him while I can.

He's basically Hanzo with permanent storm arrows and a roll instead of a jump. He's ridiculous.

Surprised people still haven’t moved on from this corpse of a game, loved this game once upon a time but after hitting GM I just quit.

2-2-2 role lock is something you do with your MM client users. You dont force it onto only your Pro players.

What are Blizzard doing?

They should try it for regular matchmaking as well imo. It will be healthy for the game, no one wants to watch 3 Tanks/3 Supp every game. That shit is not only boring to watch, but boring to play and scrim.

This only makes sense for a MM client. Similar to how MOBA MM clients assign lanes.

If you have a problem of teams comprising of half tank and half support. First thing you do is nerf their cohesion together. Follow that up by increasing mobility requirements. That means nearly abandoning the stationary gameplay of control point and escort payload maps for capture the flag type maps.

You're right, but that would require Blizzard knowing how to balance heroes. Another option could be hero bans, or reworking heroes entirely.

OW is basically a MOBA/FPS hybrid anyway, locking 2 players to each role could potentially do more for balancing than Blizzard ever could nerfing, buffing and reworking heroes. This doesn't only have the potential to benefit pros, but MM in general. One of the biggest complaints in OW is the lack of teamwork due to people not filling roles. Honestly I'm not sure if I'm for the concept for role locking 100% for MM, there's a ton of possible negatives (Longer queue times, being stuck with someone on a role who can't do their job and being unable to swap) but for the pro scene I don't really see any negatives at all.

A hero ban phase would be the correct course of action before locking teams to 2-2-2. With thirty characters in total. Allowing six total characters (3 bans per team) to be banned should work.

I play it every once in a while in QP or Arcade just for fun, never cared for competitive because I know that my setup can be an issue (tv instead of monitor even though it's a low latency tv, no nvme ssd, despite internet speed upgrades my latency readings are the same in game for whatever reasons). I never get hardcore into online multiplayer games or into one game at a time (play multiple games in the same time span) so I can still have fun with them and not burn myself out too much.

anyone watching stage 3 finals?
