It wouldn't justify him killing her anyways, but I could totally believe that him on alcohol, weed, roids, and whatever else he is on, stripped her naked and threw her into the shower, she hit her head, and then died.

I could also believe that some fucked up moron beat her to death...realized what they did, and then threw her into the shower, in a sad and frantic attempt to cover their tracks, and frame it as some kind of an accident...which it wouldn't be, regardless.
