Question about getting sites

I'm currently living in Vegas will be moving to Hawaii shortly I always used betting sites prior to moving to Vegas and I never had an issue with them. But has anyone ever heard or possibly happen to them wherew someone wins a lot of money and they refused to payout? I do a lot of future wagers like 100$ on massive longshots to win the world series or like I did a 100$ on Iran to win the world cup for 100k would a betting site refuse to payout if anyone ever hits a big one?

Its not actually moving it's for 6 months I don't have the exact date but I'm going to Cali next next week I believe.
