Longest range missiles Ukr thus far had get from U.S were 20 ATACMS missiles with range 165 km ..

McCall a Republican congress person says Michael Johnson will bring Ukraine funding bill to house floor after Easter break. McCall will ether get double crossed or there will be strings attached? I am thinking a demand that Ukraine stop hitting oil refineries an power stations? Michael not getting a change of heart out of his coming to his senses no.

Not likely .....
Ukraine even isn't proxy war for U.S otherwise definitely get more supplies and considerably faster...

Russia is starting to cut crude oil production.
And Ukr doesn't hit crude oil production factilities.... so production of crude oil isn't impacted at all. They does hit only refineries.

Ukr most likely get that for their friends only money is God....

Maybe also reality that Europe doesn't trust U.S anymore in reality and therefore is preparing to do stuff....IF shit will happen. Therefore ofc Ukr can't except that Europe will afford to deplete their stockpiles....they will increase...and not for Ukr...
If they will manage to purchase something specially for Ukr, that's all.
 
BTW I justify Olaf decision for pramatic reason. Europe does needs these missiles and most likely next batch too is ordered.
Europe does see what supplies Ykr is getting and doesn't want to get 20 165 km range missiles for possible 2 years long war or 31 tank for 1000 miles long frontline....

Tbh i expected this, even where logic ends absolute power keep work anyway

Watching news with my GF, journalist were showing "relief" at the idea it was isis, and even starting already imagining scenarios where Putin would lessen pressure on ukranians to go chase bearded terrorists in some desert

I was like
<{cruzshake}> "watch Putin try to twist this in whatever way to pretend it's ukranian's fault"
And here we are

Regardless of what russian population may wish (as if they would say it loud), Putin can't afford open a second front elsewhere as we speak, specially not a complex terrorist hunting operation that you can't solve just bombing one place

Only move that make sense for him is use this as fuel against ukraine and pretend somehow that's the real way to take revenge against isis attack while keeping pokerface... some will buy it, some will not, he does'nt care much specially if latter group is to weak to do anything about it

Different would be maybe if in future isis keep do these attacks taking advantage of Russia being busy with Ukraine, but that would be ugly scenario nobody should hope for
