I am not a big fan of Russian metal scene, but there are a couple nice bands.
Poisonstars - metalcore-ish.

This is probably the only Russian metal band I know of.

Aria is probably the most famous and their original singer Valery Kipelov can sing very well but I personally could never get past the impression that they play basically translated Iron Maiden material.

I liked Blackdeath's eclectic style a lot back when I was into black metal. They have become more technical and mainstream over the years, but are still a good and eccentric band. I saw them live about three years ago.
