Media Seems like Belal will be denied a title shot in favor of Shavkat Rakhmonov

UFC's official media + partner organizations are already pushing that narrative strongly

Also Dana White's spokesman is hyping Shavkat for a title shot

Seems like the higher ups at TKO aren't big fans of Belal.

And that is the right choice.

The ONLY way I'd give Belal the shot over Shavkat is if Shavkat is injured for an extended period of time.

Doesn't fit the logic considering they hype up Russian muslims who are also pro-palestine.

Lets be real. Belal is just that fucking unlikeable. It has nothing to do with his religion or ethnicity etc.

He's also boring as fuck to watch.

Its really quite impressive to be so universally despised without even trying to do so <45>

He struggled to take him down the entire first round. You can win a fight decisively and still struggle. Fights aren't black and white. Belal and Burns had no such issues against a younger WB, and ran right through him.

The insult at the end says all I need to know about you. The irony is palpable.
He was injured and still finished him in less than 10 mins, meamwhile Betal went 25 minutes with an injured Burns, you are making absolute no sense.

I really feel sorry for what s his name. So easy to hate him.

Wonderboy was injured too.

There's definitely a case to be made for Shavkat. Don't be surprised if his 100% finishing rate gets more notice than some very dull decision wins. His last win was incredibly impressive (first submission loss for Thompson), and Belal's last win was incredibly uninspiring (uneventful decision win against injured Burns).

Because of who he is and where is parents are from.

Colby getting a shot again was the outrage. This would be one very qualified contender getting one over another very qualified contender.

The Canadan owned MMA does not wanting #AmericanHero combatant in another title fight?

Sooo surprising 🙄

You can make that case, but the UFC cannot.

They booked Covington off a Masvidal decision over Belal TKOing an undefeated prospect in perhaps the card of the year. Thats why Belal had to take the Burns fight.

It wouldn’t be justifiable for the UFC to now try to suggest that recent finishes are a more weighted favor that trumps everything else.
