Stipe's wins are far better than Fedor's

I already acknowledged the Grand Prix, and it's not a real belt

Fedor was the PRIDE HW champion and Cro Cop won a tournament

Grand Prix is also world championship. Pride had 2 world titles and both systems lineal and tournament championship that intercharged. And the new match between Cro Cop and Fedor was supposed to happen, but it did not take place due to unforseen higher force when Pride folded.

Fedor had a great run, but he def fought a lot of circus fights in that run

Keep in mind that PRIDE folded because the Yakuza were running the whole thing anyway

Makes you wonder...

The argument I keep hearing is that Stipe's wins are "past prime" or that Fedor won as the "smaller man"

But Fedor was heavier than most of his best wins, he outweighed Cro Cop and Nog by over 10lbs

Arlovski was on the best winning streak (6) of his career when Stipe KO'd him, Fedor also beat Coleman way past his prime

You raise fair points but Arlovski was also on a win streak before Fedor KO’d him and your point kinda falls flat because you are admitting Arlovski was older and pst prime. Not to mention he’d been stopped several times before the Stipe fight

Great

not GOAT

Why does arlovski look like mike perry there?

Arlovski was on a longer win streak before fighting Stipe and did it against better competition.

He'd also been stopped several times before fighting Fedor.

Stipe also KO'd him in like 30 seconds, unlike Fedor who was getting outstruck before Andrei threw the dumbest flying knee of all time

That he did.. And was supposed to come to the UFC and dominate.. Nope.. And the Pride fans went into spin control..

His opponents suddenly got help from cage, from big round space with no corners to circle away and manage distance, from wire fence to push on and ref criteria that tolerate long clinching, from elbows, banned knees and kicks on the ground etc. Cro Cop fought exactly zero 0 fights in UFC the same boxing ring and Pride rules in which he made his success in Japan.

Cro Cop wasn't in a position to land a single grounded knee or soccer kick in his time with the UFC

Cro Cop was unaware of how to cut off the cage because he had poor footwork and only threw strikes from his left hand.

Ah yes, the legendary "Prime Fedor", showing off his incredible striking technique of winging hooks with chin straight up in the air

This was against a pro wrestler with a .500 record, mind you

And you provided the best bite, so thank you for that.

1. Fujita was a TOP ranked HW at the time, his only losses were to Coleman and Crocop. Nice try casual.

2. The margin for error in on HW is something serious... he went on to clinch, recover, drop and submit Fujita.

3 Speaking of Error, how did Stipe do vs .500 UFC gatekeeper Struve?

I have long said Fedor did not want to fight in a cage.. And I think he may have saw his old Rival CC struggle so mightily and was really tense about getting in that octagon.

Lol Dana have debunked the whole Fedor myth for ages now but obviously shertards refuse to see the FACTS

Liked because I assume you're being ironic, given that Dana also claimed MMA was bigger than soccer, that GSP was the most popular athlete in Canada (including guys like Gretzky), that the Reebock deal was better for fighters, that Strikeforce was going to continue to run, that Mayweather vs McGregor would never happen, that women would never be in the UFC, and well, way too many other lies to believe that anyone believes anything he says.

Its not that Dana is stupid, he's not. But he's a promoter (actually a good one), and he'll say anything that he thinks helps his promotion, even if its an obvious lie. If Dana says its raining outside, send someone to check before you believe him.

HW GOAT, deal with it

You're right but prepare for some major rustling and dubious MMA math...

Cro Cop was unaware of how to cut off the cage because he had poor footwork and only threw strikes from his left hand.

In PRIDE Schaub for example would lose the fight. 3rd round 1 min and 30 secs till end, Cro Cop KOs him with knees, or just keeps him there and peppers him with knees to the head untill time runs out.

Why is Stipe's second best win Ngannou? What has Ngannou ever done? Held a title? No.
Francis Ngannou has finished everyone he beat while his two loses in the UFC are against Stipe Miocic the greatest HW of all time and Derrick Lewis who is in the top 5.

Stipe seems so beatable but his resume speaks for itself

He's not very imposing physically. He's a bit of a jack of all trades but master at none type of guy

Not the fastest, most powerful, or flashy guy but he seems to get the job done

Most of Stipes top wins are over washed up middle aged versions of fighters that probably would have beaten him prime for prime. Theres a reason most people never really brought into the hype.
