People get nervous it's normal. You shouldn't really be looking at these types of things as evidence of something pre-fight. Once the cage locks the fighters are going to do what they've prepared and trained to do. It's basically going to work. You don't show up and not know what the fuck to do.

I noticed in the press conference that Strickland didn't seem to want to make eye contact with Israel during the staredown.

It's even more noticeable here at the weigh ins, Strickland seems like he can't hold eye contact with Adesanya for more than a couple seconds and looks noticeably fidgety and nervous IMO.

It's like after he looks into Adesanya's eyes he can't help but look away to the crowd but tries to play it off and tells Izzy to "calm down china man" while his body language seems unconfident.

What say you shookologists, is he scared or nah?

He was so scared that he sat in the pocket all night without flinching. He calmly picked off everything that was thrown at him. He must have been terrified
