I don't care if they had a Trump doll hung, a Biden doll hung, or an Obama doll hung. They didn't deserve to be physically assaulted in any way.

Um yeah, don’t kill or attack people in any way over abstract political beliefs, of course, until you REALLY have to. Like, self defense have to. Don’t hang dolls as effigies unless it’s Halloween.

Maybe. It's a form of protest and it's been around a long time; as long as it doesn't represent a credible threat it's legal.

Hanging in effigy was a common form of political protest in the 18th and 19th centuries. Presidents Washington, Adams, and Jefferson were all hanged in effigy; and before the civil war, “Hang Abe Lincoln on a Sour Apple Tree” was a commonly sung parody of “John Brown’s Body.” (There was a similar song about Lincoln’s southern counterpart, Jefferson Davis.) George W. Bush was routinely hanged and burned in effigy in the United States, including during the famous “Pants on Fire Tour” led by Ben and Jerry’s co-founder Ben Cohen, who hit the road with a 12-foot tall effigy of Bush.​

I mean, anybody from either side of the isle who is doing stuff like that is nuts and looking for confrontation.

Another email allegedly sent by Alvarez detailed more of the killer’s motivation for the political shooting.

That email was sent to the U.S. Army’s 902D Military Intelligence unit and allegedly included photographs of the area immediately surrounding, and including, the Kaufmann residence and LGBTQ flags, according to court documents obtained by the El Paso Times.

In that email, Alvarez allegedly identified Memorial Park, near the home, as a “ritualistic satanic ground to conduct abortions by the manner of magic” and said he was “executing and exterminating the pro-choice Jewish Satan worshippers” by going after the Kaufmanns.

“The defendant’s belief was ‘to end the Satanic activity’ near the crime scene (Memorial Park) and acted out his manifesto by killing and shooting the Kaufmanns and by mentally fabricating the connection he believed the four corner houses on Raynor and Copper to have been involved in ‘satanic activity,’ because of their relative geographic location to the park,” an EPPD officer wrote in the affidavit.

The alleged killer also referred to the couple as members of the “Jewish Satanist Party” and expressed a desire to “stop all murder of babies.”

This guy is just a regular old crazy person. Saying that he shot someone for voting for Biden is just a lie to put in a headline for people who don't actually read articles, just headlines.
