So Izzy is the best kicker...
Why? Furthermore, let's talk about his three best kicking performances in MMA, and compare them to Barboza's.

Izzy is one of the best strikers in MMA but the best kicker is somewhat surprising.

I know he put a clinic on the boy in my avatar, but outside of that, what devastating kicking performances does he have? With Edson, you literally have to start putting his lower-body masterpieces in sub categories.

Leg kick destructions:
Melendez, Pettis, Olivera, Lullo, Hooker, Danny Castillo,

Body kick destructions: Felder, Hooker, Evan Dunham,

Headkicks/knees: Terry Etim, Beneil Dariush

and then you have like overall striking displays with lots of variety of kicks:
Shane Burgos, Bobby Green, Njokuani (one of the best strikers himself), etc.

He might be the best MMA striker of all time, but there are quite a few guys who are/were better kickers.

As a huge Silva fan, I don’t think he’s among the best kickers in MMA. Did he have great kicks in his arsenal? Absolutely! He had it all.

I loved how he headkicked Okami in their UFC title fight

Misdirection with the hands, paw his hand down a bit and get a reaction while blocking a little bit of Okami’s sight and blam! Fast and accurate kick to the side of the head.

Saved by the bell and finished in the next round

Yes indeed. His arsenal of kicking attacks is pretty mythic

I concur. Silva is a really good (and smart) kicker for sure, i just don't have him amongst the best kickers - just like you.

Gaethje wasn't in Andersons era. It's also hard to compare these things between weight classes. There's no doubt that Anderson had some of the most technical kicks ever in MMA.

Most of those other guys are great strikers, Bozas kicks are on a another level.
