You can purge all of them if you want but Democrats simply won't control the Presidency or cabinet positions for the next four years. At most, you'd get Ryan as President and any of his picks filling those slots. What you'd likely end up with is President Pence and his agendas directing the nation and I believe he's a lot more subtle and potentially ruthless than Trump. Just something about that guy...

At this point, I'd take anyone who wasn't in cahoots with a foreign enemy. Sure, there will be a conservative agenda. And without Chump there mucking it up, they might actually be able to implement it. So be it. Elections have consequences, and one of them is that when the GOP wins, they implement their shitty agenda. I am cool with that because there are elections in 2018 and 2020 that can be won. That's the way our system is supposed to work. If we can get rid of the national embarrassment, and purge the White House of people conspiring with Russia, I can live with the resulting conservative regime.

If this administration is serious about their agendas then they need to get serious and ruthless about purging those elements that are actively working against it and in positions to be effective at doing so.

I have a feeling this is the beginning of the end for the Trump Administration. The deck is completely stacked against him and the level of scrutiny is at an all time high. It seems like everyone has their pitchfork out and are ready to lynch him.

It doesn't help that he and his cohort see laws only as barriers and not rules to be respected. They're a virulently immoral bunch and as the saying goes - pride comes before the fall.

Maybe so, buts it's apparently necessary. Scouring investigations, maximum prosecutions for anyone leaking sensitive or classified information. Purge, purge and purge some more. Let Bannon loose to oversee the operation. Time to get very serious indeed with rooting out those elements with access that are working toward an agenda counter to the current government.

I don't say that as someone looking to prop up Trump as I actually don't care if he's impeached or whatever. I say that as someone that believes in ruthless efficiency. They can either get scary serious about all the leaks or shut up about it and resign themselves to being undermined at every turn.

Not exactly. They didn't cooperate on hacking or influencing the election but that doesn't make it clean and above board. And I don't think this is surprising, nothing we heard ever indicated that the Trump camp was complicit in the leaks.

But it should be concerning that the Russians had extensive contact with the members of a political campaign while they, the Russians, were also trying to influence said campaign. Surely, we all remember that Manafort resigned shortly after his foreign relationships made headlines.

Take Trump's name out of the conversation and this should be concerning but it's going to end up back along partisan lines. Just like if you take NRC's name out of the leaks issue, it should have made everyone concerned about foreign influence.
