shev was piecing her up in the 5th but one nunes takedown that did 0 damage wins it. feel bad for people who went large on shev, she would've won if it was a regular main event. but she's gotta be smarter than that, championship fights are so much different in how the champs have a built-in advantage.Nunes really didn't do anything to win that fight
Im honestly confused too. Its not like my bet was huge. I dont care about the money its just a silly decision. Shev was piecing her up.Nunes really didn't do anything to win that fight

Thisi would have thought with the new rules, judges would have given shev r5. isn't effective strikes supposed to count for more than smothering?
man, it goes all out the window since it's like an unwritten rule for a challenger to win a split decision against a champ... look at the bs wonderboy-woodley fights for referencei would have thought with the new rules, judges would have given shev r5. isn't effective strikes supposed to count for more than smothering?
Shevchenko came in with a bad gameplan, you'd think she would want to pressure Nunes and make her tired but no she did the exact same thing as she did in the 1st fight. Shevchenko also thought she won the 1st fight, she is delusional when it comes to scoring rounds. Seriously some poor fight IQ by Shevchenko and her team, she shouldn't be mad at the judges it could have gone either way.
Nunes was very composed and fought a very smart fight.
