Why would anyone have went hard on Wideman, like what was the reasoning? That he can do some wrestling?

Reyes looked like dogshit against Volkan, who's wrestling/BJJ isn't even a fraction as good as Weidman's.

All it would've taken was 1 takedown. But just like Rockhold's fight, easier said than done.

A few other reasons too, but this isn't the thread for it. He's still my boy though.

Taped 5 fights this week, with one being a very obvious no-bet (Anderson-Walker) and one a very surprising no-bet (Lewis-Ivanov), as I originally wanted to bet Lewis hard, but a combination of his line worsening from small plus to small minus numbers and the tape indicating that Ivanov had improved in his last fight convincing me not to. Who knows; might put a small wager on it later.

As for the rest, Chookagian vs. Maia is an annoying conundrum; I will feel perfectly fine if it loses, and I will be furious with myself if Chookagian wins clearly like I believe she will. Oh well.

Added another 0.5u on Chookagian at -135 and also 1.1u on Masvidal at -135.

Went a perfect 4/4 for the night and +5.7u.

Don't regret how much I bet on Chookagian and Dawodu. I capped Dawodu as -175 and he fought like it. That's a bet between 1 and 2u. Chookagian I thought could go 1 one of 3 ways; worst-case was she fought like -100, best-case like -400, and the middle case was -200. She fought like a middle-case, which is again where I like to hit bets between 1 and 2u.

Rozenstruik I was thinking of adding more all the way up until the intros, but I thought I might have some weird blindspot with Arlovski, as I lost a decent amount betting Rothwell at -185 in the rematch and SHOULD have lost a huge amount betting Sakai at -135 only to be bailed out by a robbery.

Don't regret passing on Ivanov vs. Lewis at evens; Ivanov had him hurt with punches, almost finished him twice on the ground (stupidly overcommitting both times to the keylock, allowing Lewis to scramble to his feet), and won round 3 with superior cardio.

What I do regret is being too lazy with my tape-watching to properly cap Masvidal vs. Diaz, and thus justify more than a 1u bet there. That was easily a 5u spot I missed out on!

Oh well, can't complain too much about a perfect week! Look forward to next week's card in the city I was born in, and hope I can cap more fights this time.
