UFC Fight Night: Lemos vs. Andrade

Romanov only closed at -510 against Vanderaa but is now -1400 against a bigger puncher and far more experienced fighter in Chase Sherman?

I do believe Romanov is going to win but there is a ton of value on Sherman who is nearing +1000. Sherman has legitimate one punch knockout power and has the ability to put a pace on Romanov that he cannot match if it stays on the feet.

It won't stay on the feet. I'm not touching Romanov at those odds just incase but Chase got dominated in the grappling by Jake Collier, god knows what Romanov is going to do to him.

Although if anyone does want to play Sherman I would think the KO line makes the most sense as I don't see how we wins a decision against Romanov and he obviously isn't going to sub him.

His odds are so crazy it wouldn’t make sense to play ko. I mean he’s over +1000 how much more do you want lol?

i got under 1.5 at -175

I'm done with the card. It's terrible. The two fights with crazy odds are out of hand, but I still don't want the other side. This whole card is a pass. The only bets I made are Puelles by sub small and the under in that fight medium. When they moved Lemos/Andrade to 2.5 I thought about hitting that under, and I still might, but small. What a waste of a day handicapping this card.

Good, move on and start on next week's card (Font vs Chito). I'm going to Vegas but have an insane amount of work to do before I go so no way can really dig into the fights. I expect full and detailed breakdowns of every fight by Tuesday night. :D

I get that no one has any faith in Sherman and I've been fading that dude for years. But seriously, $5 on a +800 or more at HW feels like a no brainer. He's more of a dog than Mike Jackson in most books, a dude who has no business setting foot in any major MMA promotion. It's extremely likely that Romanov will get his takedowns and smash. But HW punching power is a thing, there's virtually no HW (actual cans aside) who I wouldn't put a few bucks on with those odds.

Sherman has 0 punching power brah but yeah a 5$ could be worth it. There's a better chance that Romanov breaks his leg while taking Sherman down then Sherman knocking out Romanov ;-)

Barry by Ko is steal
i think the points prop is better. Mike jackson has muay thai experience and a gold glove in boxing, Dean should win given his impressive striking credentials but its going to look like a kick boxing match that goes to a decision. Mike jackson does a lot of head movement and knows how to stall a fight, its going to be competitive, but dean should win that decisively . also the fact that dean is at a height disadvantage , but i still favor him because of activity and age. I think he'll win the fight playing footsies but expect Jackson to stick and jive and do the boxing game.

my local bookie made a mistake and is offering parsons sub at +1000 lol. it's +200 everywhere else

Mike got dropped by Gall within a minute though, for all his experience, the man is not a professional fighter, and Dean goes balls to the wall against overmatched opponents.

I might be wrong, but I feel like the under, and Dean's KO line, are locks here.

Pedro via sub is sitting at +195 right now, that's crazy since that's his usual M.O. gotta put a little on it at those odds.

See some value on Wright KO 1, MDLR ML and MDLR sub, Else sub, absolutely garbage card.

Leaned Lando/Jourdain GTD all week, and Lando as the side but he looked skeletor on the scales so I'm not sure, hard fight to pick with paths either way.

Took a unit of Mike Jackson based on nothing but the price

ive seen mike get dropped like that, but gall is the same size here. i think he could get dropped but recover fine, because dean isn’t a ground specialist he wont have the finishing skills of gall, but i wouldn’t put it past him
