Pipe down Stitches.
Well cmon
"I thought MJ should of got the nod but it was closer than most people want to admit."

You can't say "MJ beat him easy" when he clearly lost a round, arguably 2, in a 3 round fight. And he did lose the fight, that is a fact, regardless if you or I say he won.

Well, he took two clean rounds and one closeish for Beneil.. That's relatively easy in my eyes. Whatever though, there was value on Beneil for sure at +160 but i still think he get's outsped to a decision here.

There was nothing clean about the 2nd round that's why he lost but you can remember it however you like. Value at +160, there is value at +110, fight should be a pick'em.

I think I need to get a bit more creative but I'm actually glad this happened lol

Watched Ferg's last five fights he is even more savage than i thought defo my fav fighter to watch. Think i've bet on him his last five fights too. The Lando fight wasn't as bad as i thought i had him winning r1 up until the last minute when he got caught with the head kick. Barboza r1 was pretty close too and then Barboza just wilts from the pressure and attempts a takedown.

Ferg gets taken down off caught kicks more than doubles, etc. I wonder if snap down city is going to make RDA hesitant to shoot especially when we get to r3 onwards and he's starting to feel the pace. No decision until i've watched RDA but at the mo im tempted to go big on Ferg sixth fight in a row the guy is a damn animal.

Post USADA is a concern for me re RDA too. First fight potentially clean and he gets hammered. He posted a pic on Instagram today and while i know he has to cut weight yet so he will look more ripped, im not sure he physically looks as good as he did.

Liking the Diego/Held over. Granted, I lost a fair bit on the Diego/Lauzon over, but still it's tough to avoid betting the overs on a guy with no finishing ability. He also has damn good heart and sub defense, and he's facing a submission specialist. The bigger concern is Held KOing him, though I feel that will only be a danger early.

Diego is definitely done and going to crack again any day now but Held isn't a big puncher. Lauzon's a smart guy and he's actually got good power. I can't let myself put money on a guy who's a leg locker but he uses them to sweep as well right? For some reason I keep getting thoughts of Held losing bottom. His wrestling to me looks decent but it isn't anything special.

Diego having advantages in the partisan crowd and the penchant to win bad decisions. The elevation can also be huge outside factor for either guy.

Can I trust Held for a decision? His submission is at +280 while his ITD is like +150 or something. Diego's dec has value as well I would think.

+175 dec for a guy who's -265. no idea where I wanna go with this one.

I agree with your hesitation on Held. I like Held but he is not a world beater. I won't be that surprised if Diego hurts him or lights him up.

Not a hater, but I'm not at all impressed by the kicks, very slow and labored with bad form. Oh, and that punching bag looked about as sturdy as a trash bag filled with hamster bedding.

Who do you guys lean on between:

Briones vs Douglas Silva
Cannetti vs Marco Beltran

They're bound to be close in odds. I couldn't imagine anyone being a big favorite.

Not 100% sure what Brione's is good at but he can take good beating apparently. Douglas Silva has a really good record likely comprised of cans. No idea with this one.

Cannetti/Beltran has already fought on TUF. Beltran is on an unprecedented 3-0 at BW despite the fact that he is trash. Cannetti is pretty wild though and he's hardly dependable. Could see Cannetti winning with nice kicks or Beltran somehow winning a scramble and catching a RNC. No idea who the favorite will be.

I scouted Brinoes/Silva and I'll post my notes on them:

Briones:

- sharp jab
- good head movement, likes to slip over his left hip
- stays over his hip when moving his head a bit too long
- pivots well to his left
- not a good combination puncher
- looks to get to half guard + underhook and immediately turn in to stand up

Silva:
- sloppy punches
- doesn't have much of a jab
- hard leg kicks
- quick about getting underhooks vs takedowns
- defense mostly consists of footwork
- backs up in straight lines
- granby rolls out of bottom, good about getting his feet on hips and creating distance

I decided I favor Briones very slightly because of his boxing. He has a solid jab and some decent counterpunching/footwork, while Silva's boxing is disgusting. Silva is mostly a counterpuncher and just wings random shit with his hands, has some hard leg kicks though. I hope I can get Briones as an underdog.
