Elbow wraps? Dawg come on.Have looked at elbow wraps for when the gyms open again as I want to hit a 400 bench.
The reason being that whenever I press heavy these days I get bad tendonitis in my right elbow to the extent that even push ups hurt. I don't want to do longterm damage (I no longer squat heavy for similar reasons and use mostly dumbells for shoulders) so my plan is once the gyms are open again to hit a 5x5/531 program to work up to a 400lb bench (my PB is 365lbs) then basically 'retire' from heavy lifting in general. I mean the stretchy ones that protect your elbow joint and cost about a tenner. I'm not aware that they make any real difference to the amount you bench.But elbow wraps are literally that. I’m not sure how you’re drawing the line here.
