Not true. Fast twitching muscles and isometric strength is strongly correlated.
See here a perfect example of that
thats just a good example of pudz being a freak tbh

well i think most hw Olympic wrestler are probably stronger than ngannou

What does that have to do with who is stronger between Aleksandr Karelin and Francis Ngannou?Just because Francis won the rematch it doesn't erase the first fight. It was pure domination from Stipe.
Karelin would pick up Ngannou and twirl him on his finger like a basketball. His signature move was picking up 280+ lbs men dead off the floor from his knees and throwing them back over his head. It's not even close.
Could Karelin or Ngannou do this though? No it's hugely correlated..you mentioned Lesnar Who was an explosive wrestler
We haven't seen Ngannou's strength on display outside of ko power
Exactly.Not at all
There are plenty of elite boxers known for their power that wouldn't be able to outlift your average gym bro
Someone who is insanely strong in lifting weight is also more likely to be stiffer when it comes to explosive movements
Could Karelin or Ngannou do this though?
Exactly.
Punching power is not correlated with weight lifting strength much.
It's a whole body explosive movement but primarily the tendons elasticity and fast twitch muscle fibres.
Karelin would toss Ngannou around like a child.
Who said that?Karelins supposed bench press is 704 Lb, which would put him in the elites if true.
I don't have any numbers on Ngannou but he would be close

Wilder hits far harder than Ngannou. He brutally KO's elite boxers in 10 ounce gloves. Ngannou couldn't do anything to blackbeast in 4 ounce. It is correlated. And Ngannou KOed someone with a jab. Not an explosive right hand.
u obviously didnt even watch that match, he ran from him the whole time and won on a technicality, good try thoughRemember when Karelin got his shit pushed in by this guy? Hahaha, life is so funny.

Nganniu hit hard for MMA but there is no comparison between their punching power.
