Yes, we all knowTrump doesn't give a shit about these people's concerns, but how he responds can make a difference. The cops and national guard arresting rioters is one thing but calling in the military will just escalate the situation and could literally lead to a massacre. Most people are wearing masks but there's plenty of video and it's better to throw the book at any instigators and persons that committed violent acts than to end up with a result 100 times worse than the one that started all this business to begin with.
