Exactly. I've been following MMA for a long time and I don't personally know a single Warren fan. It's quite an anomaly.

I know It's kind of funny. There's just something about Joe Warren that rubs everyone the wrong way.

The referee in the bout has since come under fire for his decision making process while Bird had the choke locked in. The short version of the story (read the long version with adetailed breakdown here) is that the ref in question failed to stop the fight for a full 10 seconds while Couture was completely unconscious.
