"They could fight a hundred times and Nate wins them all"
"Nate's style is too much for Conor"
"Conor can't adapt"
"Nate's too big"
"Pointless rematch Nate wins again easy"

Fast forward a couple of years and the same haters who were proved spectacularly wrong before are back on repeat spouting all the same nonsense about how a Conor Khabib rematch couldn't possibly go better for Conor.

We've heard it all before but fortunately, unlike Conor haters, Dana doesn't suffer from a short memory and can easily recall Conor's heroic return against 190lb Nate and his silencing of those who said he had no chance.

Dana will grant Conor his rematch and it will be the most epic victory of Conor's decorated career.

Nate carried him in the rematch to get the trilogy. Everyone knows that. He was out clubbing the night before the fight LOL

Conor's place in the division lies somewhere under Nate.

Except he actually had some degree of success against Nate in the first fight

Even though he "won" a round against Khabib, he didn't do an ounce of damage to him in the 4 minutes that Khabib spent standing with him. It was more a product of Khabib taking a quick breather than Conor actually doing anything meaningful.

Khabib beats him even easier in the rematch because now he won't show Conor's standup the respect he did in the first fight because he knows Conor's power is vastly overrated.

I hope for a rematch because betting on khabib was the easiest money
I’ve ever made because all of the nut hugging fans move the Vegas lines

Ones a journey man and the other is the Goat.

His performances are only going to get worse, partying non stop isn’t good for improving your abilities

Bit of a stretch to say critics were spectacularly wrong, the second fight with Nate was super close and could have gone either way.

Earn that rematch like everybody else, at least take 1 fight against a top 5.

Conor went easy on Nate too so they could sell the trilogy
No one would wanna see a 3rd fight if Conor was just dropping Nate over and over for 5 rounds

But still...The beating Conor gave Nate for a few rounds was enough to put Nate into retirement so it didn't really work out as planned
smh

The judges gifted Conor the win over Nate in the second meeting, because the OG mma fans know who really won that fight.

Conor gets auto rematches when he loses, his opponents not so much, see Aldo. Notice no offer from alleged McRapist? If he had won that first Diaz fight there would have never been another or discussions of a third.
I’ll give him this though, the other UFC cash cows like Rousey and Lesnar never even talked about avenging their ass whoopings, just went to fake fighting instead.
