There Is Now A Massive Rift Between Conor McGregor And Dana White

Dana and the UFC deserve whatever headaches Conor causes them. They have only themselves to blame.

Anyone know how many fights he has left on his contract?

Funny how the guy who the Zuffa haters saw as the incarnation of UFC favoritism, hype and bullshit might actually be their biggest Champion in breaking the perceived Zuffa monopoly and opening the door for better fighter pay.
its pretty ironic, i agree

Conor is a lot smarter than I ever gave him credit.
He aint leaving, hes getting another raise.

Conor is cornered.

He knows he's about to lose from RDA.

Obviously, he's very nervous about it, and this is just the result of his nervousness.

I don't care much about Conor one way or the other at the moment, but if there's truth here, I think I'm a fan.

Rda is a journeyman who made his way to the title by beating a past prime Bendo, a stick in the mud Cowboy, an "I don't give a fuck" out of shape Diaz, and pretty boy who has his hair cut 3x a week.

Conor is a legit berserker from the ancient battlefields of Europe who wants to taste the blood of his enemy. He will maul Rda.

Brandao? LOL why even mention him? And the same could be said for RDA
Because for every single one of those guys, a shitload were saying "CONOR GETS HAPED BY THIS GUY" But once Conor does the haping, it's "this next guy will murder the bum McGoofball!"

This reminds me of my uncle. He ran a succesful business for many years, then he started to treat certain people with more respect than others and it turned in to more of a friendship than employment and went sour real quick afterwards.
These employees felt entitled, did what they wanted and knew they could get away with it.

Then I saw how the UFC treated Conor with the same mentality and thought that it was going to turn bad and its looking more and more like it is.
I get McGregor is a star but you gotta keep your cards close to your chest, not treat anyone the way they treated Conor. They put him on a pedestal, rented him homes, cars and flew him all over the place.

Whatever it takes to bring down Dana

No idea. But I do remember on the Notorious documentary after the Brandao fight/just before Poirier he signed a new deal. And a new one just before the Aldo fight.

I've a feeling his contract is always subject to change on account of performance, gate, PPV buys, but whether the number of fights he's under contract has changed along the way would be hard to guess.

LOL serves them right the that's what you get for spoiling a guy and making your company revolve around him Mcgregor's intention all along was to just use them as a stepping stone to further his plans

guess Dana thought he was pulling the strings but he got played like a fool that would explain why he is crawling back to his original golden child Ronda and perhaps why he booked the fight with RDA maybe they really do want Mcgregor to lose in attempt to shutdown his ego a bit and they see RDA as the biggest threat to do so

i would feel sorry for Dana for putting all his devotion into a guy only to have that man basically use and backstab him but the UFC has been doing this to guys for a long time now so no love lost

It makes sense now that they let him go up. Trying to milk it for what it is worth.

I still don't believe this is true though or they would have made him bacate 145.

Dana and the feritta brother's have their methods.

I never liked Conor but if he wants to fuck over the UFC I'm his biggest fan ever. I hope he beats RDA now.

This is the type of thing that sounds like it could be true, but theres not much proof to support it. In the end Conor needs to keep winning and maximize his celebrity before the body fails him. Zuffa uber alles is the closest thing to a sure thing in the MMA world. Even if Conor manages to be bigger than the brand for a bit in the end the Zuffa working group always wins. They can either use it to their advantage or keep chugging along until it falls apart. Either way they keep lining their pockets and everyone else can pound sand.
