I'm going against the grain big time on this event.

Pettis is the nightmare matchup for Barboza, who isn't very good in opposite stance situations (whereas Pettis is great in them). I expect Pettis to piece him up from south paw, and Barb won't know what to do when he is losing from kicking range. A finish is likely imo. I'm fairly large on this one.

I hit the over 2.5 on the Jones fight at +190 for 1u. I just don't see why everyone thinks OSP is getting finished so early. The taller the guy is the less Jones seems to push forward. The ground is definitely a problem, but I think that OSP will have more respect for the TDs than against Glover.

I am all over Fili as the dog. He just has more ways to win: can grind it out, and I expect him to outstrike Yair as well. He put up a great performance against a dangerous southpaw in Benitez last time. Huge on this one.

Possibly with you on Fili - need to watch tape. I definitely have not bought into the Yair hype i don't think his ceiling is as high as a lot make out. I do rate Fili highly even tho he burned me bad against Pepey. I wont go huge on Fili mainly due to be scarred from the Pepey fight if i do bet him but i will definitely be looking to unload on lb.

I'm on Pettis too but I got him at -150. I think I'm going to look at props now and look for a finish. I think Pettis is too offensively gifted and Barboza is too 1 dimensional.

I think I'd rather play the Starts Round 3 prop at +159 instead it's only +30pts difference. Jones not a 1 punch finisher he likes to break you down. Jones also not going to rush in with any big shots in this matter either because OSP is a dangerous counter striker at that. I can see elbows from top position playing out for Jones once he gets OSP down or a choke finish. I hope OSP is game.

I'm gonna be on Fili too. I was hoping Yair would get some more respect I thought he'd be higher up. I like Fili's length and he works well off his jab. Yair is too flashy for my liking he needs to settle down. Maybe Fili dec prop as well but I'm afraid they can finish eachother too with the two not shying away from high risk moves.

So yeah I'm sort've with you.

Do you guys think both Juliana Lima & Marcos Rogerio de Lima should win easily ??

Just watched Lee's last four fights and yeah i like him a lot against Escudero. Santos fight aside he looks like a good prospect, I just hope he remembers to mix in his wrestling against Escudero. Lee seems near impossible to hold on his back not that i see Escudero having top position at any time, but that for me is the only way he can win this fight. I think Lee can handle his power and get the better of him standing and mix in his takedowns to secure rounds. Hope we get a good line on Lee that isn't too inflated and a decent line on Lee dec.

His last fight, OSP injured his foot rd 1
Did anyone lb against him ?

That was the most money I've ever lost live-betting a fight. I knew Feijao was on a downslide but didn't realise he'd got to the point where he literally couldn't beat a one-legged man.

I didn't live bet it, but I thought I had a great play on Feijao pre-fight at that point. Honestly, how the hell do you lose after that?

No idea mate. I actually thought it might have been stopped in his corner, but even when OSP came back out I still thought Feijao would run through him. It was a faded-shadow of the fighter who beat Romero and King Mo.

idk, but don't think the feijao fight is relevant much at all for this jones fight. maybe it illustrates that osp can overcome some adversity, but i really don't think it applies here

I didn't watch the fight live thank God as I would have absolutely hammered Feijao when it looked like OSP had done his ankle!

I did hammer Feijao on live bet lol for the same reasons as GM did above, just figured osp would be done already and he only required one kick to end the fight instead osp came back from the dead and feijao became the walking the dead.

Vick -

Injuries have really plagued my career, after Matthews fight, my hip was injured so I got surgery, that keep me out 4-5 months, Franca is well rounded, comfortable top and bottom, hands are a little stiff, decent power but not fluid, kicks are hard but telegraphed, I think his size has helped him a lot, but I have the advantage everywhere, I’m tall and just as long as he is, it will give him a huge problem, he’s used to being the bigger stronger guy and he’s not going to be either, I’ve been waiting a long time to fight again, I’m going to finish him in the first two rounds, he fades a bit in the later rounds, carries a lot of muscle, he’s going to try to take me down, because I’m tall and skinny guys think they are stronger than me, but every time I’ve locked up with someone I’m stronger, they can’t keep me down for more than a couple seconds or I’ll lock their neck, my goal is 3 wins this year, I would love a rematch against Chiesa, I will not disappoint

someone sell me on natal-whittaker.

whittaker's looked like a beast since he went up to 185. looks so comfortable. hands look so good.

that said, he's probably a little bit smaller than natal & natal should have a grappling edge if he can get it there. and natal isn't the worst striker in the world. but he has been KO'd 4 times (twice in the ufc.. kennedy and craig)...

but whittaker KO, whittaker ITD, fight does not go 3 rounds, U2.5, etc ... all pay even money or worse...

does he get the KO? does it go 3 rounds? if it does, how likely is it for natal to win a round? (spread question) -- or can natal outright win if it does go 3?

I was sooo lucky that my bookie pulled the lines.
