just know i'm gonna end up losing $ on DC again.

and seriously. is DJ-cejudo anything OTHER than DJ DEC? i mean, that feels like such a likely outcome

Agree. Already big on it and put some of that on UD. I don't think Cejudo wins a round, but I'm really confident no judges are gonna give him 3 rounds.

I will probably play MM -5.5 too as that will cover a MM finish (though I find the finish as unlikely as you do). I did also hit MM rd 5 because...well...it's +2500 and he does have 2 finishes in the 5th round since he became Flyweight champ.

So far, o4.5 -175 (as opposed to -170 for 5 round distance) is something I'm paying the juice on. I can't see it finishing either. The only thing that's different in this fight is the fact that MM will not have his usual wrestling threat/edge in this fight and it may make this fight a bit more uglier but both guys are tough so it shouldn't even matter...

Johnson (scorecards = no action) -385*

Hard to love a -385 line, but I do

At comparable odds, I think I like the o2.0 at -360 better

Yes and no. Not the same thing..

O3.0 has more winning likelihood but far more losing likelihood

Of course it is not the same thing. I'm talking about the o2.0, by the way. Not the o3.0, idk if that was a typo from you.

The only thing the MM no SC has on the o2.0 is a MM R1-2 finish which cashes the MM no SC, but busts the o2.0. A Cejudo R1-2 finish busts both. A Cejudo R3-5 finish cashes the o2.0, busts the MM no SC. A MM R3-5 finish cashes both. Either decision cashes the o2.0, but pushes the MM no SC

    typo yes

the diff is: i'm going to call the mighty mouse no scorecards the L word (relatively) -- sure, it can push, but a push is never bad... like.. 1/20 chance it loses. at worst

anyone have a link to the video they showed a part of last night? the one w/DC telling jones his whole life's goal is to beat jones, etc, and jones looks him dead in the eye etc?

    shit gave me goosebumps.

this is the best rivalry in the sport right now, hands down

    Uh ohhhhh.....

Does that mean the fight is off? Jon has become the ultimate athlete's cliche, super talented and clearly the best guy in the division, but throwing it all away on stupid, very avoidable shit.

Na supposedly this will get cleared up in time for him to still fight.

The video is out there of what happened. Honestly, the cop seemed like a douche, and for once this could be something thats not Jones' fault, but who knows.

It's funny how different people can perceive things, but imo Jones acted like the douche here. You could pretty much tell the cop's been in these kind of situations before and he knew just how to walk the tight-rope on handling those insults Jones threw at him.

I have probably leaned toward being a Jones apologist over the last few years but at some point you just have to grow up and understand the situation. AT LEAST while you are on probation you should be living every second of your life 100% within the law. I mean don't even drive 57 in a 55 zone. Anything else is just stupid and shows a complete lack of understanding consequences.

If I were Jones, I wouldn't even get behind the wheel. Someone else can drive me around until my probation is over. Grab some newby from Jackson's and ask him if he wants to drive Jones around. Kid would do it with a 24 hour hard on. You don't go to bars, clubs, anywhere that trouble tends to be common. You want to see a movie? Fine. Want to get some dinner at a steakhouse? Sure. Otherwise go to the gym and your house and stay the fuck out of trouble for a year and a half.

I agree I would never get behind the wheel, but according to Jones he did literally nothing wrong at all. He revved his engine at a red light at fans, the cop pulled him over, and threw all these false accusations at him. The cop didn't even have an exact speed Jones was going. I find it hard to believe with no facts to back the cop's accusations Jones will get in trouble, but we'll see. I've always been a Jones fan, not so much an apologist, but this is the one time where i'm not sure I want to hold him accountable. We'll see how this plays out, but just based off the video, something seems off when the cop is lobbing out weird accusations and being a complete smartass about it.

Yeah I really hope this is nothing and blows over. I'm just saying in this situation, live like a paranoid freak until your probation is over. Act like every cop is out to get you for ANYTHING and that every person you meet will rat you out or record what you're doing. Don't rev your engine, don't even drive. I suppose there's a limit to exactly how goody goody anyone can be (I mean, Jones could be a passenger and wave at someone and get accused of making a threatening gesture LOL) but honestly you just have to think of nothing but keeping yourself out of ANY trouble at all.

Problem is jj doesnt think like that at all. He is a rich celebrity on top of the world.

Being rich and famous at a young age probably doesnt help ones common sense...
