UFC 205 PBP/Discussion

garbage night for me. basically i got crushed because i played wb ko/dec instead of ml. i usually never play props as my main plays but got greedy. oh well, lesson learned.

cowboy was the only play i actually liked tonight so i was half expecting a rough night. next week looks a lot better.

if khabib gets hold of conor once, it's done. i give conor a solid chance the first couple of rounds to clip him, due to his sense of timing and precision. but if khabib gets hold of him, it'll be all she wrote.

ps: he has pretty much killed my intrest for the sport, since it's become a spectacle, where 'asses in seats' dictates policy, which is fucked up, as is a single individual dictating policy for the biggest organization in the sport. pretty sure a union will never happen either aslong as he's active in the sport.

Congrats my homey's! I know a lot of you killed it tonight as deadeye. Though I was absolutely gutted that they took the decision for Wonderboy as I thought he won rounds two, three, and five ..then to add insult to injury I had Twood by decision at +700 and it got through out the window as well.

He should be increasing your interest since he is the best striker there is and will go down as a GOAT

lots of clownfuks on twitter trying to call for a 10 - 8 fourth for woodley, a 10 - 8 round for a guy that spent the last 70 seconds of it on bottom, after he jumped guard on a failed guillotine attempt? not to mention he was eating shots for those 70 seconds aswell. some people are just professional glue sniffers.

still haven't defended a single belt he's won. ever. and why would he 'increase' my intrest? there is no 'sport' anymore, they've clearly shown that, when they allow a single person to hold up several weight divisions, and jump the line, simply because of the amount of $$ he brings.

this was supposed to be something different then the corrupt clown mess known as boxing, instead it's getting turned to shit even faster (lookin at total lifespan) then it took to turn boxing into one huge shithole.

and he's most definetly not the best striker there is. he's an exellent counter striker, but at best a an okay pressure striker, when he gets to hang back and just counter the opponents momentum he's got very good sense of timing and distance. but when he's the one pressuring himself? he leaves lots of gaps and over extends quite frequently.

Khabib Fight Is lose-lose IMO.

He should just fight Tyron. He set the ground work.

I'd pick Tyron but I'm bad at picking McGregor fights.

Ferguson fight is also lose lose.
No one knows who the fook Khabib or Ferguson are.

pretty sure conor is sane enough to know that if he gets hit by someone who outweighs him by 25-30 pounds it won't be a very good evening, conor vs real welterweights would look like a car crash. a bad one. psure wonderboy gets a rematch aswell.

Not sure what the beef is with making the fights the most people want to see. 145 isn't exactly filled with top contenders anyway. And this is nothing like boxing where guys like GGG and Canelo won't fight each other. Its not like McGregor isn't worthy. Hes a legend in every way.

Whos better? WB who gets dropped by Woodley multiple times? Conor is easily the best striker. With an improved gas tank and Nate not weighing probably 185 lbs he makes that fight look like this one.

How is it not still a sport? Conor is the best guy at FW and at LW. Is a close call win over Lando Vannata better than beating Nate and killing Aldo? Were they not suppose to generate the biggest PPV they could for MSG debut? All this talk is over exaggerated.
