UFN 146 on ESPN+ 4 Lewis vs Dos Santos

I‘m pretty confident in Tony Martin, so I did a parlay with him and JDS. To hedge my bet though, I made another parlay with Tony Martin and Lewis by KO. I calculated the right number, so I will be even if Lewis somehow wins again lol. If Martin & JDS win, I will be up about 3.5 units.

As long as Martin wins, I won’t lose.

This is not his first fight at 185, and he was completely gassed out in round 3 in his last fight just like all his fights at 170

He looked better than before imo. Even in the 3rd he was still landing decent strikes despite the ridiculous pace he put on. I don’t expect tomorrow’s fight to be at the same pace.
 
I‘m considering a little play on Marion "The Belizean Milf" Reneau.

Kunitskaya is a prime example of shitty WMMA imo. She is scared to get hit and has horrible stand up. Only thing she has going for her is her tie up game. She is pretty strong in the clinch but that’s about it.
I thought Yana was way bigger than Reneau but the difference isn’t that huge. Yana has 5cm on her in height and only 0.5 inch reach advantage.

Now when it comes to the matchup, I see 2 ways for Reneau to win this fight. 1) She is the way better striker. I bet Zingano against her because her takedowns are strong and Marion’s TDD is bad. It was still sweaty though when they were standing. Marion countered Cat very nicely with her straight punches whenever she threw those lazy ass kicks. I consider Zingano‘s striking horrible but Yana is even worse. She is just kicking with her chin in the air and Marion has solid striking for WMMA as she trains with Rafael Cordeiro.

2) Marion has the better pure BJJ as a black belt who has submitted someone like Jessica Andrade. Yana is more of a controlling fighter but she has been subbed before and a fluke armbar is always an option in WMMA. Maybe Marion tries to take her down as Yana’s TDD is pretty bad as well. Reneau will definitely be a threat wherever the fight goes. She isn’t Lina Lansberg.

Reneau is a finisher which is unusual in WMMA and Yana has been finished in 3 of her 4 losses, so I’m thinking about putting a little on her ITD as the value is great. To me this fight is dog or pass.

Gotta watch some of their fights again.
 
What about Elizeu / Millender? IMO Millender should win a standup battle being the fighter with longer limbs and a kick heavy game. Only worrying part would be that Millender is like a duck out of water on his back and I don't think it takes much of a wrestler to get him down, just someone who can mix in the TD with the striking well enough to surprise with the TD while Millender is walking forward..

Usman always fights like that lol. I do like gathering some data as someone else mentioned, like injuries, training partners, etc. but as far as most of the other stuff, I don't really factor it into my capping much at all.

Boetsch R3-DEC @5.00. I think Akhmedov will win the first part and then get tired, and Boetsch is so good at coming back ang getting a late stoppage.

I agree, Yana is horrible on her feet and she doesn't seem to have the same fighting spirit as Marion has. I'm guessing Yana will look for takedowns constantly in this fight and i'm not very confident Marion will be able to stop it. Zingano really muscled Marion to the ground, I don't think that will work for Yana but she does have some shitty WMMA throws and trips. She is also training at JacksonWink who prepared Holly for Marion in the past so i'm sure they'll have a good understanding of the holes in Marions game as well. Still very much thinking about a bet on Marion though..
 
For a 254 pound heavyweight who doesn't have to cut weight, I can't help but think Blagoy Ivanov shuffled off the scale gingerly in a way that made me question his fitness.
 
Yeah he did get off the scale very strange. Hobbled a bit walking away as well.
