Neighborhood pool, landscaping, tennis courts. They’ve been redoing roads all summer. Shit like thatYou dont even get snow .... where does all that money go ?
2.32%. i live in tarrant county (closer to fw). poor fools in dallas county get to help jerry jones fund jerry world. where they get you is increasing you land/house value every year. it has gone uo 68% since 2014What's the property tax situation like in Tejas?
Probably a significantly heavier fine. I might not like HOA’s but at the end of the day they serve their purpose and protect your investment and keep the neighborhood value up. I despise living in the suburbs but I knew where I started wasn’t where I was going to finish so I went with a safe investment for the time being and hopefully one day sell for a higher profit and get RSR RanchWhat would they do if you put up a confederate flag and a car on blocks with weeds growing out of it in your lawn ?
Whatcha doin in some hell hole with an hoa ?
That seems like such a friggen racket to me.2.32%. i live in tarrant county (closer to fw). poor fools in dallas county get to help jerry jones fund jerry world. where they get you is increasing you land/house value every year. it has gone uo 68% since 2014

Yeah, I don't get it either. When we gave our realtor our list of wants for a house... number 1 on the list was... NO HOA fees. We're buying a single family house so that shouldn't be that big of a deal, but it definitely eliminates some cookie cutter subdivisions. What’s with the complaints about HOA when you should know about it before you move in?
Biggest investment you can make and you don’t do any research.
I've yet to be convinced that buying a home isnt a huge scam. I havent gotten to HOAs yet.
yep. selling you fucking air. i fight it every year. but it's just like the military. the put the whole thing in and then just the tip and tell you see it could be worse. That seems like such a friggen racket to me.
I'm guessing these people don't have jobs to have the time to do this?I got a warning letter for having a weed over 12" tall in my side rocks. It was one, single weed in the rocks. They even took a picture and sent it to me.
HOAs are not so bad. It all depends on the HOA. Never had a problem with them. The ones in the subdivision I live in are reasonable. HOAs can keep a neighborhood looking decent.I'd never buy a property with HOAs. I would even let them in the house, you don't have to legally and really could call the police if they don't leave.

Eastlake residents upset over HOA garage parking rule
If residents have a two-car garage, two cars would need to take up the two spots in the garage before residents can park in the driveway or on the street.
Think about that, pay a bunch of money to have someone tell you how to live.
The Fuck are you talking about bitchShouldn't you be looking out for your sidepiece's husband?
Because you never really own it.Why wouldn’t you want to own your home?
