Kenny Florian Knows Three Fighters Who Could Beat Khabib

Maybe Ferguson or … St Pierre at 155 or 165 Super Fight. But don't really see him challenged until he moves up to 170.

Lol Ryan Hall, a featherweight with no wrestling, but not Gregor Gillespie?

GSP is the only real answer there. I love Ryan hall, but he weighs 155lbs soaking wet and is largely untested. Florian helps train hall, so of course he would say Hall.

Justin Gaethje is a wild card.

Bruh really said Ryan Hall

Do less Kenflo
I agree... Hall is way too small. The guy basically doesn't cut weight to make 155. Khabib outweighs him by 20 pounds easily in the cage. I just think Khabib would be too big and strong for Ryan Hall to submit.

Kenny has CTE confirmed. How good is Khabib where Kenny has to go digging into other weight classes to guess guys who could maybe beat him? Hall couldn't submit Artem, Gray Maynard or Darren Elkins, but the best grappler in the sport who's 10 lbs bigger had better watch out.

Has Gaethje taken anyone down yet in his UFC career? Or submitted anyone? Why do some assume he can wrestle with Khabib?

Khabib mauls him easy and probably beats him standing up and well.

No offense to KFlow but he's literally the last guy I'd get advice from on how to beat a UFC champ

A 'just post 9/11' Al Iaquinta. Too much time had passed and Al's raging thoughts were blurred by trying to get his Real Estate License and how to correctly carry the 1

lol Look at Justin's D1 wrestling credentials. Khabob has never fought anyone even close to Gaethje's level.

Add to that Justin's one-punch KO power, decent hands and relentless, pressuring style and you have the one guy at 55 that could not only beat Khabib but could make it look pretty easy.

(And don't sleep on Dustin. If Khabib gets the win it's only going to be via a close decision. I'm leaning towards Dustin with a finish in the 4th or 5th.)

Ryan Hall respects the hands out of Chuck Liddell's chapter.

And Khabib is considerably more than 10 lbs heavier when it actually matters. Hall's fight night weight against BJ at LW was only 156 lbs.

Florian needs to just stick to plagiarizing what other people have to say.

Is GSP a better all around martial artist than Khabib? Yes, & I think GSP is the GOAT. But people think just because GSP walks around at 185 that he can make 155 easily, because some other guys walk around at 185 or even 190 supposedly & can make 155. Khabib walking around at 190 has much more fat than GSP walking around at 185, its not even close. GSP, even at weigh ins for 170, is shredded with very low body fat already, & looks to have less body fat than Khabib when Khabib has to weigh in at 155. The idea that GSP can cut another 15 lbs easily is misguided, & its harder for old guys who are not used to cutting to 155, to all of a sudden start (isn't GSP close to 40 now?). GSP stays in great shape yr round, even when he's walking around at 185. If GSP is gonna fight Khabib, I think GSP wants it at 155 so he can be the first ever 3 weight world champ in big league MMA, I don't think GSP would want a non title fight vs Khabib. GSP can make weight, but it will affect his performance a lot more than people think, because even at weigh ins for 170, he's already at low body fat, nevermind cutting another 15 lbs

Didn't Ryan lose to Saul Rogers? I like him and all, but let's pump the brakes on saying he could beat one of the best grapplers in MMA who's also heavier than him.

Did you watch that fight?

Rodgers, like everyone else, avoided the ground like the plague.

Dustin and Tony have a shot. You know Dustin is working on the take-down defense and learning from Conner's mistakes. Millions of dollars are riding on it so I'm sure he's taking it seriously.
