I think the bet itself was perfectly fine, but Fili foolishly went toe-to-toe with Yusuff in round 1, where he is by far his most explosive and powerful. Fili's cardio edge over Yusuff was as big as I had expected, though, even with being ground-and-pounded for most of round 2.

yusuff was clearly the better striker, he beat fili to the jab, the speed differential in the first round was significant. Just because Sadiq coasted the 3d round thinking he was up 2 rounds, doesnt make the fili bet any good.
 
Got 2.5U on starts round 2 @ $1.55 on this Barber fight. Hopefully this one isn't over instantly.

Yusuff is absolutely not "clearly the better striker", considering the way that even a slightly tired Fili using an unnatural stance out-struck him for the entirety of round 3.

He is, however, a much harder and even faster puncher, and (something I hadn't anticipated) Yusuff is phenomenal at hip-escaping and scrambling back up immediately, whereas Fili is terrible at getting up. (I knew Fili had that weakness, I just didn't think Yusuff would exploit it)
 
Thought 1st round was arguably filis. Took him down a few times and buckled Yusuf legs. I guess the kimura swung the round for sodiq

I think the judges are done with scoring takedowns if they dont have any influence on the fight. Sodiq got up so easy and clearly won the striking exchanges and had fili on his back at the end of the round.

It was probably the solid GNP Yusuff landed at the very, very end of the round, actually. I think Fili actually stunned Yusuff worse than Yusuff stunned him in that huge exchange with about a minute left.

The real difference in the fight was Sadiq's solid grappling, which was a wrinkle in his game that was hard to predict. If Fili has a good 2nd round, it's a whole different fight.
 
First the russians came to the UFC and now its the africans? Russians with their crazy sambo experience and now the africans with their crazy physiques(Usman and Sodiq mostly, Adesanya still skinny as hell) and dont forget Ngannou oh lawd.
 
I've got 1.5u on Barber by KO here. Hope I am not trying to be too clever. Wish I had taken the ITD. Hedge with Modaferri ML
 
Hope Modaferri is tough enough to last over 1.5 rounds. In conjunction with her getting finished after that would help me stabilize. Although I'm looking to livebet modafferi if barber is somehow getting wrestle-fucked.
 
Like modaferri at these odds but good chance she does get steam rolled. If this goes into deeper waters I like it more for her
 
I think Maycee is bad, but still dont have the balls to play Modaferri. Gonna be ready though to livebet.
