Crime Police Shoot Man In Back, Riots and Unrest Ensue

Terrible thread merge BTW, we have a discussion on the Blake shooting and the self defense during the riot going on at the same time.

half the time, without context, you cannot make out which (justified) shooting people are talking about
True. Having a huge thread will tax the server more. People don’t need 230 pages of mixed topics when they request for one

The OP is even titled “racist cops shoot black man in the back REEEeEEeReEeeeEReee” so a thread about “kid with illegal weapon slays innocent saint of a BLM activist in cold blooded murder” are like oil and water.

BTW, both shootings are apparently justified and the MSM is criminally negligent in their reporting of BOTH cases. L Lin Wood is likely to sue the media ONCE AGAIN for defamation and WIN AGAIN when the dust settles

Capitalism has done more to breakdown the family, extended and nuclear, than communism ever did. I mean, don't you wonder why the societies with plummeting birth rates are all liberal free markets?

Its a very simple equation really. People are most fertile when they are young however this is when they are also the most poor; they have the least experience and often find themselves working on their education.

I'd argue it has much more to do with a change in culture due to the Women's Liberation movement and feminism than with Capitalism. Up until around 1960 in the U.S. the nuclear family was still going strong even in a Capitalistic system but that's when things really started to go south. Women are now told that there's no honor or prestige in being a wife and mother and that instead, they should pursue college and a career which kind of makes rearing children an afterthought. I agree though that in our greed-based, consumerist system, family considerations often take a back seat to worker productivity and such like. I mean do most families really need two full-time working parents who barely have any time for their children at all? The answer is no.

Family life is changing. Two-parent households are on the decline in the United States as divorce, remarriage and cohabitation are on the rise. And families are smaller now, both due to the growth of single-parent households and the drop in fertility. Not only are Americans having fewer children, but the circumstances surrounding parenthood have changed. While in the early 1960s babies typically arrived within a marriage, today fully four-in-ten births occur to women who are single or living with a non-marital partner. At the same time that family structures have transformed, so has the role of mothers in the workplace – and in the home. As more moms have entered the labor force, more have become breadwinners – in many cases, primary breadwinners – in their families.

And under capitalism having kids is kind of a stupid decision; they take up a lot of time and money with no appreciable return in as an investment. That money would, in terms of return on investment, be better spent on almost anything else. This is compounded by the fact that highly efficient labor markets breakdown families; under modern capitalism the labor market allows employers to scour the entire earth in many cases for the best candidate. But all this moving around for work leads to the breakdown of extended and, eventually, nuclear families which before provided the social support network that made having kids easier.

This is a fair point.

The result? People get married and have kids increasingly later in life, only well after they've finished their education and have progressed into their careers, and many people decide not to have kids at all because of the drag it causes on their financial stability.

The easy answer here is to return women to their traditional role of wife and mother for the sake of family stability, and stronger and healthier children. If the left really cared about these things at all this would be the solution but they're not the slightest bit interested in Capitalism's supposed negative effects on family cohesiveness, really. They're the biggest proponents of feminism after all which is 10x worse. In addition, the left overall seems to have little grasp of the significance of familial relationships on people's development and general well-being, which is really not surprising if you think about. It's all about power and prestige with them, if women have to take a less glorious support role for the betterment of families, children, and society in general the cost is just not worth it in their view since women wouldn't be full-fledged equals with men in every respect.

Its one of the most pernicious effects of capitalism but unfortunately it doesn't really get pointed out much. The right ignores it because they support capitalism over the family...

Well, that's simply not true. I'm firmly on the right and I don't support Capitalism over the family, whatever that means. I'd say the left supports feminism over the family which is a far more direct dichotomy, I think.

and the left ignores it because the vast majority of them are, at best, neutral towards the family. For them getting married and having kids is just one of many lifestyle choices, equally valid when compared to becoming a spinster cat lady. Of course at worst they outright have disdain for the traditional family.

I agree, which is why it's hard to take any of the left's stances seriously when it comes to their supposed moral superiority.

ROFL Fuck me they're not even gonna get him on the weapons charge!!!!!

“Later in the day, they received information about a call for help from a local business owner, whose downtown Kenosha auto dealership was largely destroyed by mob violence,” the statement continues. “Business owner needed help to protect what he had left of his life’s work, including two nearby mechanic’s shops. Kyle and a friend armed themselves with rifles due to the deadly violence gripping Kenosha and many other American cities, and headed to the business premises. The weapons were in Wisconsin and never crossed state lines.”

I'm sorry, I thought the facts of the case were that minor drove in from out of state carrying a weapon it was illegal for him to possess and got himself charged with three counts of homicide.

Which of these facts do the "big dogs" dispute?
The three BLM hero's shot by Kyle Rittenhouse

Joseph D. Rosenbaum: Convicted sex offender, level 3, sexual misconduct with a child (bald dude, shot after he tried to dropped kick Rittenhouse when he was on his back)

Anthony M. Huber: Pled guilty to false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon, strangulation domestic dispute, and battery (skateboard dude, shot after trying to bash Rittenhouse's head in with skateboard)

Gauge P. Grosskreutz: Felony burglary, theft, probation violation, felon in possession of a firearm (one arm dude, shot after attempting drawing a concealed handgun on Rittenhouse after feigning surrender) Don't believe me, Google their names and see their mugshots.

Actually the drop kick guy was the black guy that apparently did not get hit with something (he was seen limping on the video)

Mr pedo was the guy who chased him and got smoked first when he tried to grab Kyle's rifle

Everyone listed here is a complete piece of shit. A net Negative to society. They were smoked because they were morons. Don't be like this sherfront. Looking at some of you specifically. I won't name names...but y'all are usually on yellow cards and aren't doing shit with your life

To what would you attribute this precipitous level of misinformation?
Do you think they’re wantonly full of shit?... like flat out lying through their teeff?
Or just simply retarded/insane?

They're literally being hunted in the streets..

His lawyer is good I’ll give them that. Kids going to walk.

TLDR, he was hired security, gun belonged to friend.

"According to Pierce Brainbridge, the lawfirm representing the Antioch teen, on the day of the shooting, the 17-year-old worked as a community lifeguard in Kenosha, and later on, he went to the local public high school to remove graffiti.

Many buildings were tagged with graffiti and several were destroyed when unrest ensued in the days following the shooting of Jacob Blake by a Kenosha police officer.

On Tuesday, according to attorneys, Rittenhouse and a friend received information about a call for help from a local business owner, whose downtown Kenosha auto dealership was largely destroyed and needed help protecting his business. Kyle and the friend armed themselves with rifles and headed to the business.

The attorneys stated that protesters threatened and taunted Rittenhouse several times as he and his friend stood guard at the business. They claim the 17-year-old became concerned about protesters injured in clashes with police, and went to provide first aid, according to NBC affiliate WTMJ in Milwaukee.

Rittenhouse eventually made his way toward a second auto shop where he was confronted by protesters, according to a news release.

"Upon the sound of a gunshot behind him, Kyle turned and was immediately faced with an attacker lunging towards him and reaching for his rifle," the attorneys said. "He reacted instantaneously and justifiably with his weapon to protect himself, firing and striking the attacker."

Kyle stopped to ensure care for the wounded person, but faced a "growing mob," according to the lawfirm.

"In fear for his life and concerned the crowd would either continue to shoot at him or even use his own weapon against him, Kyle had no choice but to fire multiple rounds towards his immediate attackers, striking two, including one armed attacker," the statement from the lawfirm added.

The lawyers contend the 17-year-old "exercised his God-given, Constitutional, common law and statutory law right to self-defense."

"“A 17-year old child should not have to take up arms in America to protect life and property," the statement read. "That is the job of state and local governments. However, those governments have failed, and law-abiding citizens have no choice but to protect their own communities. His lawyer is good I’ll give them that. Kids going to walk.

Thank you for that.
You’re right, dude is real and while he’s definitively right wing, he’s logical, rational, and cautious in his approach to subjects which I can definitely appreciate.

Mike’s a good guy, fellow youtuber, honest man.

10/10 for content, even tho he isn’t a hoosier
