Dude I like Wesley as much as the next guy, He's one of the action stars of my childhood. He was awesome, no arguing that.

But he's no Mickey Rourke. He a different type of actor.

What's interesting is that Mickey Rourke wasn't a movie tough guy like Wesley, instead he did it in real life. Rearranged his whole face in the process too. He might have been a lousy boxer but he showed balls.

Rourke is a far better actor than Snipes. After a massive hiatus Rourke went on to do the Wrestler, which was a far more powerful performance than Snipes ever did. Snipes best roles were relatively lower tier action movie roles, the Blade franchise was good fun but let's be real, it was not what you would call a great movie.

Joe is also a black belt in taekwondo and his kicks are brutal. He was mostly focused on chokes because it was the path of least resistance and the easiest way for him to win.

Snipes is no giant himself. Even Stallone is taller than him in this pic but those “man stilettos” he’s wearing might be giving him a boost.
