What is exactly a centrist “social policy?”

Economically he realized obamacare without the very republican/corporatist mandate was probably the best way to do it at the moment. Getting rid of the mandate WAS repealing what that bill really was, however.

The mandate was what payed for the ACA. Everything else is still in place the only difference is now it's adding to the deficit.

Trump wanted to get rid of ACA entirely and cut Medicare/Medicaid.

He had/s no replacement plan.
