How does prime GSP do in the Modern WW division?

I think he for sure could be champ. Koschek Fitch and Shields were the ones to dethrone GSP since they had wrestling but the reality was he couldn't get taken down and was a striker before he was a wrestler. Usman and Colby would have the best shot and they both neutralized each others wrestling and it became a striking match. You got to think that's how the GSP fight vs them would go and I can't see them outstriking GSP with his jab.

- Retired after winning a controversial decision over Hendricks is the factual correct comment regarding the fight. If you can't understand how GSP got the nod, you probably just don't understand how fights are scored or were scored at the time. Hell, even with the scoring changes, the fight is still 48-47 for either guy, no matter how you slice it.

- Retired 1.5 years before USADA was even introduced.... before it was even a discussion by the UFC and guess what, there is only USADA because people worth a damn like GSP spoke up about the shit tier drug testing done by the dumbass athletic commissions

- He's more relevant than 99.9% of MMA fighters, even while being retired. Sherdog proves this even without the TS. His haters do just as good of a job keeping him relevant than anyone does here.

- You doubt he'd pass any tests? He literally passed every USADA test he took....

It would be similar to the Fitch fight. I don't think that Colby has Fitch's toughness though.
 
Mas has 14 losses and is getting his 2nd TS..

So GSP would be just fine..
