A perspective many don’t understand is that businesses really don’t operate on a pure profit motive. As often as not, top level decisions are made for the comfort of owners/executives rather then any totally sound business rationale. Corporate wokeness has less to do with matters of profitability and more to do with insulating the principles from uncomfortable accusations of racism that they’d have to fend off in the press/the office/dinner parties/etc.

Now, loss of profitability is uncomfortable as well and so wokeness is inherently self limiting.

It seems to me that they have a proxy IQ test, the Wonderlic, which is given to incoming players. They can compare those scores to their post-playing scores, and get a more accurate assessment of the damage, if any, without resorting to broad racial averages.

If they are using a standardized and it's the same for everyone, then they can't cry about the NFL being racist. It sounds like a frivolous lawsuit.
