A lot is stories get no national attention. Very recently a 18 year old black man who had a history of criminal behavior kidnapped and murdered a four old white boy.

Local news has no problem showing all these attacks but if you go on the national media you can see what they're doing.
They simply report news with no bs agenda.
 
I wonder how Asians feel about being used as the flavor of the month, and as soon as people started realizing it's mostly black men attacking Asians and not "white supremacists", national media just forgets the topic and goes back to gun bans and global warming. There was a bit of a scramble to claim black on Asian assaults is still white people's fault, but everyone recognizes that's preposterous, so they just move on to a different topic

Do you recall how the white supremacy narrative started?

This started because of Trump and other conservative politician's rhetoric on the "Kung-flu". People called it xenophobic, and Trump's other racial faux pauxs just got tied in with this to give it the white supremacy treatment. The media didn't make it up out of thin air.

And has the dominant focus of these stories really all been on who is doing the crimes, or who the crimes are happening to ? I've seen a lot more of the latter. Calling out racism in this country in general, but not some overly focus on white on asian violence.

It has probably already been mentioned that blacks have been violently attacking Asians for years. Hell, even a lot of rappers feature extreme racism against Asians in their songs. The only reason people are hearing about this now is because the media is finally giving it some spotlight, though it seems to have died down once the media realized it is mainly blacks attacking Asians.

doesn't help when the president of the united states intentionally divides people and sets them against one another by using typical low brow blue collar semi racist and judgmental language. trump was and is a low point in american history and proof that a potion of the county is deeply spiritually sick.
