Law Pelosi desk "invader" asks judge for freedom to sell cars

I'll try to help you out here. Stop trying to equalize what happened at the Capitol and what happened in multiple cities over the Summer. They aren't even remotely the same. If the people of those cities hate what happened there, they can easily vote out the people responsible. They are direct control over it. What happened at the Capitol on Jan 6th is something that happened to all of America. I cannot vote out MTG or any other GOP instigator over Jan 6th. They can and are continuing to incite people over lies that the election was stolen. A lie pushed by the President at the time. People stormed the Capitol over a lie. What happened over the Summer was a direct reaction to police brutality. You can disagree with it but it did happen and an office is a convict now because of his actions. These weren't lies being pushed by anyone. Its on video, just like the actions on Jan 6th are on video and people like you continue to pretend they didn't happen.

No one is going to take you seriously until you stop trying to downplay the events on Jan 6th. But you can't because that would mean acknowledging you are wrong.

“Stop talking about the burning and looting that occurred in several cities last summer. Never bring that up. That was completely fine. Instead, focus a less damaging, less deadly event that was perpetrated by Trump supporters!”

you’re right, the two events aren’t equal. The GF riots and CHAZ was much worse. January 6th was very bad, but the other riots were much worse by every metric.

  • He wasn’t charged with that. His obstruction charge was in violation of 18 USC, Sections 1512(c)(2) and 2). Try again.
  • He wasn’t charged with violent crimes.
18 USC, Sections 1512(c)(2) and 2)? Cool:
"otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so,
shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both."
although Im not sure what this has to do with
18 U.S. Code § 1512 - Tampering with a witness, victim, or an informant

Nice dodging the second quote about tresspassing and the increased severity while carrying a gun.

No one said that. You have a weird way of comprehending English. This thread is about the Jan 6th insurrection that you continue to downplay. You cling on to what happened over the Summer because you are incapable of seeing what happened on Jan 6th for what it was. Instead, you want to deflect at every opportunity because part of you is ashamed of what happened but your ego gets in the way of reason.

If you want to talk about the Summer riots so badly then there are a number of threads for you to discuss that in.

Except as an attack against democracy.

"Dura Lex, Sed Lex."

- The law is ugly, but it is the law.

If only the "Right" were focused on making those laws more fair instead of making the rich richer. You see where their priorities are.

so now you blaming "the right" cause lefty ideologues are abusing their powers and on one hand are releasing repeated violent offenders, but on the other hand target political opposition?

thats the main difference between 2 camps

the right creates a system where there's gonna be winners and losers, but each individual (with decisions they makes) will eventually decide his or her own hate.

the left creates a system where it targets ppl based on their political affiliation or their ethnic background. you go against lefty ideology or you happen to be of wrong skin color and lefties will treat you differently and will try to destroy you

I said that what happened January 6th was bad. But the left is hysterical about it. Mainstream democrats say that it was worse than 9/11. It was a terrible riot, but dont resort to hysterics.

the summer riots were worse tho.

No. That would be bad. Did this guy do that? If not, why is it relevant? Should the acts of a couple BLM rioters be attributed to them all?

There are other videos of the same incident if you care.

In any case, it is a fallacy that this was a peaceful protest in the same way that it is a fallacy that the BLM protests were all peaceful. No, it may not be relevant to this guy unless he was involved. The amount of whitewashing being done by Republicans over this vent is crazy.

Once again you keep deflecting to the Summer riots. The Black Wallstreet massacre was worse. Let's play games if that is all you want to do.

No I'm not, not at all.

If any of this was a concern for the people that the insurrectionists supported, all I'm saying is that they had a LOT of time to handle those issues and they did not. The insurrectionists made their choice and now they want to whine and cry when it's time to face the consequences of those choices.

Play stupid games.... Win stupid prizes.

I never said January 6th was peaceful. It became a riot. But a less damaging and deadly riot than CHAZ or the BLM riots. Objectively, it wasn’t as bad as what we saw in Minneapolis or Seattle.

Member when for several weeks in the summer the left had a shitfit about "unmarked soliders" policing the Portland protest. The called them Secret Police and Shadow Soldiers...all because a grainy tic tok video obstructed the fact that they were wearing an insignia.

The cop that shot and killed an unarmed protestor at the capitol wasn't in uniform though. No markings whatsoever identified him as a cop, and he never issued a single warning. Weird how no one on the left cares anymore.

Cool. Wasn’t arguing that. I was saying the statutes you originally cited were wrong.
